Some people may be easily embarrassed by the thought of their crush knowing that they like them, so they opt not to tell.

Some people may be worried that other people will tease them about their crush if anyone finds out.

People would be afraid of being rejected by their crush.

And others are just crazy and don't know what they want :)

Its not just every boy, but every girl goes through this one stage in their life when they are afraid to let out their true feelings for a person on the count that there is a chance of rejection. So the fear of being rejected and being left in the dust accounts for why most boys and girls hide their feelings toward other people.

Every boy? Wow..
Here's the main probable reasons:
*They're scared what people might think/what their friends will say.
*They don't know if you like them back and are scared of rejection and possible humiliation.
*They're immature and/or aren't ready to let their feelings be known to that person.
