I have a few questions about getting shiney hair.
1. Does icy cold water really help make your hair shiney?
2. Are there any other techniques that help make your hair shiney?

1. Yes colg hair makes your hair get shiney.
2. When you're bored one day, brush through you're hair for a long time. It makes it shiney also.

i use garnier fructice and it makes my hair shiny also brush your hair in the shower

Ok...this answer might sound kinda gross cause it is. lol. But it relly helps! Get some Olive oil and put some in your hair, then put on a shower cap and use a blow dryer to give it heat. Do this for 20 min. and then wash out *hope i helped*

icy cold water is really good for your hair, but if you rinse it with hot or cold water, you wont be able to tell the difference anyway. lol. if you straighten your hair, use a ceramic straightner, theyre actually good for your hair and make it look shinier, also use a good hair serum like paul mitchell's super skinny serum or biosilk by biolage. redken's antisnap is also great for you hair, you put it in towel tried hair and it prevents most frizzes and conditions hair too!

Ive tried to whole cold and icey water. It doesnt work. Theres is this product that i use. Its called Biosilk-Silk Therapy. Only Use a small drop! It make ur hair shiney and silkey. It smells good too!
If u have dark hair i wouldnt recommend using it a lot. Dark hair can look shiney as it is.

Hey!! well when you rinse the conditoner out of your hair use cold water this makes your hair healthy and shiner! Putting mayonase ( you know the stuff you put on sandwhiches) in your hair overnight and rinsing it is supposed to make your hair really shiny and soft!! John Frieda HIghlight activator also makes your hair really shiny and brighter and you dont even have to have higlights to use it! soo id try that! good luck!

for products, garnier fructice works like a charm! some straighteners (if you have/want straight hair) also have a "shiney plate" that also works really well.

Well I don't know about the cold water thing, but i think that just washing it in warm water and using a deep conditioner would work. If you want it extra shiny just go out and buy a finishing spray that you can spritz on it when you're done styling.

There is one old way to make hair shiney. Vinegar. Put the vinegar in your hair,cover it with a shower cap,leave in for 5 min,take off shower cap,wash hair with Pantene,Condition with conditioner from Pantene,comb hair,and blind people with your shiny strands.The vinegar wont make your head stink:)

yes, cold water makes ur air shiney, also i've hurd vineger makes them shiny...and if you use conditioner and then cold water after wards and then blow dry them and iron them....it will make em str8 and shiny :-D xoxo effy
