Okay, so I'm 14 and a female. My boyfriend broke up with me a couple weeks ago because he 'wanted to stop dating for awhile'. I pretended not to care and all this. My friends ended up getting all up in it and now he knows I still love him and he said he loved me, but I think he was lying. I still haven't directly told him I still love him because he said he didn't want to go out with anyone for awhile and I totally respect his wishes. My friends just don't get this. What should I do? Because I mean, I'd do anything to get my boyfriend back, I just don't think he's really in to me anymore.

You are 14 years old!!! No no no. Its good you broke up. YOu are way too young to get in such a serious relationship. Trust me, go out and date date date. Meet lots of guys, don't commit. Guys are a waste of time until you're ready for a SERIOUS commitment. Get through college and then decide. :) I'm 22 and I've fallen into relationships over the years and the best thing I did was to END THEM. Have fun. Don't stress. You'll meet others. :)

That must be a rough time for you :( But one thing to remember: If your ex-boyfriend really wanted to cut off your love relationship, he would have told you that he didn't love you anymore, or would have said, "Let's just be friends." I think that he still loves you, but maybe he's going through a rough time, or has lots of schoolwork, or has football practice daily. Let him know that you'll always be there for him as a friend, and that you respect his wishes about his no-comittment thing for a while. Whatever you do, don't try to push back into the relationship, otherwise the outcome may not be that great. Since he broke things off, let him do the mending if necessary. :) Good luck in all you do :)

You know..maybe he was getting flack from his freinds about this. Do they..his friends have g/f"s. they might have been easing him and he just wanted to ahng out wiht the guys.
As for your freinds..anytime a g/f of a guys g/f asks him about the realationship..guys RUN the other way. Tell the friends nciely to butt out!

Well I have to say even though you're 14 I don't think it was love. I think you just really really liked him. You should go talk to you're broken up boyfriend, and have a conversation about you 2. I hope I helped
