gemmaholly answered Tuesday October 19 2004, 5:21 pm: it all depends on what your going for, without getting too personal, i went to the gyno first at 16 for some prob that i had, but if its just a randon check then probably anytime from the age of 15 up til what ever age dont be worried what ever age you are, you have nothing to worry about its just a check up making sure nothings wrong [ gemmaholly's advice column | Ask gemmaholly A Question ]
MelikoDee answered Tuesday October 19 2004, 4:32 am: There is no 'normal' age. When you become sexually active, is when you should make trips to the gynocologist or when you get your period. [ MelikoDee's advice column | Ask MelikoDee A Question ]
Karen answered Monday October 18 2004, 8:49 pm: Girls usually start going to their gyno when they start to become sexually active or turn 18! You could also go to the gyno whenever you think you should go! Hope I helped :) [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
MoonFisher answered Monday October 18 2004, 8:08 pm: You should begin seeing an OB/GYN as soon as you become sexually active, if you are using birth control pills or shots, or when you turn 18, whichever happens first. That is the general guideline recommended by the Surgeon General. [ MoonFisher's advice column | Ask MoonFisher A Question ]
SoNuLiCiOuSsS answered Monday October 18 2004, 7:57 pm: MosT girlz start seeing a gyno when they turn 18 or decide to become sexually active... whichever comes first... it's a good idea to go to a gyno before u get ur first period... they'll help u understand whats going to happen to ur body & why it happenz... routine check-upz will help ensure that you dont get infections, stdz, or cancer on ur private areas... FrEe2bMe answered Monday October 18 2004, 5:57 pm: It really just depends on personal readiness and each different girls case. Like a friend of mine went when she was 14 because she was having bad cramps. But it's probabably more likely that girls go at least once that have started having their period. It's no big deal really. Just relax! I think I was like 14! So If you've had your period before or are at least 14ish then yah it's a normal age. But some girls don't go until like their 18s to 20s. Just depends. :) [ FrEe2bMe's advice column | Ask FrEe2bMe A Question ]
