I have short legs which look even more stumpy with my fat calves . i know i can't do anything about the length of my legs , but how do i get my calves smaller ?i don't wear skirts anymore ,cuz it's embarassing .my thighs are fine , but my calves are really rounded and fat . not muscular . FAT > please help !

umm i kinda can understand.. im a little short for my height (ok fine i'm pretty short) lol.. and yeah it sucks sometimes looking at those pretty girls with their mile long legs =P. But then again i have really tone legs. Over the summer *school has started since early august for me* i ran alot just for casual fun or to get my mind off of problems at home and after like 2 weeks of running flat out around this park thing at my home (which one tiem around is like a mile and i run around it 3 times) i've got pretty musclar legs. And no it's not like those she-hulk kinda muscles haha.. only when i flex can you really tell that i work out.. i hope that that was what you were aiming for.. also you can work them out in gym's at your school or a local gym or club. but the best and cheapest way is running. hope i helped

Well you can start by doing calf raises. You stand on your toes& slowly go up& down without letting your heels touch the ground. You can do about 20 of those, stop for a minute or so, and then do another set. I do those alot just b/c they're fun to me and they give great results! Hope I helped!

Do things like leg curls to exercise your legs. There are so many magazine articles on this kind of thing, turn the fat into muscle as for skirts, you don't have to throw them away sweetie! Get the kind that are shorter in the front and longer in the back, at least until you get them in shape. But really sweetie just be proud of your body, because we are all different and beutiful. spread ur legs apart, like even with your shoulders, and bend to one side as far as u can..u'll feel a tight pull in ur thigh, hold it for about 30 seconds then switch sides. so 12 rounds, 5 times a week!! trust me, u WILL notice a difference!! i did in like 2 weeks!! also doing squats help!! xo`lexi

im sure your calves are fine! but if your realy that insecure about them then i suggest that you excercise them! calve raises are excellent calf excercises, you simply go on you tipping toes and back down again repetishously (cant spell that word)
