I very much want to protest the current presidential administration and encourage people to vote for John Kerry, but I live in a military town and everyone living here thinks being opposed to war means you don't support the troops. I LOVE our men and women who are fighting, that's why I want them brought home to safety! Do you have any ideas about how I can get my message out without offending or inviting attack from all the military folk out here?

You should bring up Bush's down-falls. He rushed us in this war. He also got the wrong target. Saudia Arabia was more of a threat. By the way, Bush supports the draft. And this time its going to include women. Be afraid women. And when he drafts people, he's going to tighten up the border on Canada, so you can't escape. Bush also kills people through proxy. And we all can say he has no debating skills. The man's a joke for a president.

Say you love the troops so much that you want them to come home and get out of danger. Also say that were still going to fight with Kerry but you think his plan will work better then bush and less amricans will die.

I'm in almost the same situation as you. I can't even put out a few Kerry/Edwards signs without finding them missing or vandalized within a day.

For the last week they have had addressing to a few websites that are written by republican conservatives, or past supporters of Bush. These articles are now urging people to vote for John Kerry. I was especially moved by the article by Bush's hometown newspaper.
Perhaps if you can tell them how he has not met the needs of republicans, conservatives, or anyone else in the American public, then they will agree.
There are some articles on why the war is not working out by a reporter from the arhconservative wall street journal. I urge you to read these and share your knowledge with everyone you meet.

Hay! I have got a great idea.. Have you noticed in the presidencial debates that John Kerry never focuses on the question. I think that if John Kerry wins the election, this country is in major trouble. George Bush has the millaitary in Iraq for a reason. Do you realized that they killed many innocent Americans. George bush wants to end terriosm. I think it is time we do end terriosm. Consider the fact that you might be the next one killed because of terriost. If we back away from the war now, then they will think they can come and bomb us and kill even more of us. Even though we know that alot of American soilders are being killed in Iraq, we will always remember what good people they are. I think you should reconsider your vote. Americans seem to love to throw out the word "unpatriotic" or "anti-American" to anyone who doesn't have the same beliefs they do. (Kinda reminds you of religion, doesn't it.) They can say that about you all they want, but that doesn't make them right. Standing up against opposition is what politics is all about. Don't worry about offending people; there is no perfect answer everyone can agree on. Just protest your heart out and hope that someone interprets and understands your message correctly.
