PLEASE HELP! =]
Okay me and my best friend whitney love to sing we sing all the time but we've never sang in public or anything. we wrote a song one night and we made a tune to it and we sing it all the time now we sang it to our moms and they loved it my mom started crying and we really think that its a good song. We're really scared of what people might think of us we, sing really good and stuff but maybe other people won't think so we really want to become singers. we don't know what to do though like where to go to or anything.
please help im sorry its long. (btw we live in west virginia) thank you! =] I rate.

if your school has a talent show you should sing it there. if your moms cried it has to be a great song. just dont think about wat other people will think just follow you r dreams and believe in yourself and you and your friend will do good. but remember have fun. hope i helped.

Well what I have to say is, if you want to be heard, then make yourself heard. Your young and from what I read, talented! So audition for a school talent show! If a modeling scout goes to your town, then try it out! They might be looking for not just actors and models, but singers too! I know how it is trying to be seen by the public.. I'm in the modeling business and im in a hole right now! So get out there! Try doing small crowds like at church if you go or maybe your little cousins' birthday parties or something! That way your more comfortable with yourself. There's no other way to go except up! Good Luck! Brittany

Try going to a place that gives voice lessons and ask them what they think & they can help you become even better =) Look in the newspaper for conests and stuff and find out if your school does a talent show or anything. You can call up talent agents you find in the phone book or make a tape and send it to a record label or smthn. Also even tho it might not be the kind of singing you want to do, you can go to a musical dinner theatre & you can get you noticed by doing that and I said this in an answer to someone else but you can try writing a letter or e-mailing Oprah or Montel and try to get them to do a show on singers trying to be recognized by people in the music bizz. You can also try to get jobs @ local carnivals and parties and maybe find some other people and make a band. Even tho you live in West Virginia you can still get noticed. Good Luck!

Well. That's good that you already know what you want in life. And if you and your friend want to sing don't be worried about what others have to say about you. If you worry about what others will think, you're not going to get far in life.

maybe you should talk to a chorus teacher about it. i probably wont be too much help on this bc i dont sing but i think you could ask a chorus teacher where you could go to get your voices heard and stuff. good luck with that! -kayla
