My teacher

Question Posted Tuesday October 5 2004, 9:27 pm

I might fail one of my classes because my teacher doesn't explain the work or go over it. The class i'm in is so behind on work what can i do.

get together with a friend or two from the class, the textbook, and maybe with a library nearby, and cooperate to figure out what's going on. Repeat weekly or twice weekly until you finish the course.

This tactic will serve you well for years if you can make it work.

You need to talk to your teacher and tell her how you feel. If you talk to the teacher and ask her to go over something, she most likely will. Also you can ask for "Extra Help" My teachers will let you stay after with them and they will help you with things you are having trouble on. I hope this helps.

Hey there!

Have a talk with your professor at the end of class or anytime soon. Bring up the topic about your performance in class and talk about what options for you to pass the class.

It would really help if you asked your professor if you can do an extra credit work.

Also, participate in class this would help a lot to balance your grades. Remember, it's part of your grade too.

While your teacher is "teaching", you should try to ask questions about the work? Maybe not enough students ask questions, which makes your teacher feel like everyone understands. Ask questions, your teacher will explain them.

***If that doesn't work, than talk to your teacher, if she doesn't listen. Talk to your principal!!! Get everyone to come along with you, so your principal will know your serious.

Ask your parents about hiring a tutor, or ask your teacher for some after-school help. Bonne chance!
