anonymous_lil_me answered Friday October 1 2004, 11:26 pm: I was really scared at first also. I STILL use the slim/slender ones. If you do want to start wearing them, start out with those kind and then when you get used to them, you can get bigger ones. Instructions come with tampons so you will know exactly what to do. If you aren't that experienced with your body, use a mirror to put the tampon up there, I used to do it! It's not stupid and it's easier to see exactly where the tampon is going. Don't worry and remember to RELAX when you're putting it up and taking it out! Hope i help :] [ anonymous_lil_me's advice column | Ask anonymous_lil_me A Question ]
cute_resentment answered Friday October 1 2004, 11:12 pm: when I first put in a tampon i was SO scared. That doesn't help. Make sure you're as relaxed as you can be. As long as you get it in all the way it won't hurt one bit! It's much better (and cleaner feeling!) than pads. Get the "slim fit" ones, they're easier to get in your first time [ cute_resentment's advice column | Ask cute_resentment A Question ]
sshelbyy answered Friday October 1 2004, 10:51 pm: they dont freakin hurt. jeez. all u do is stick it up your vagina and there you go. bam! like that cook guy. its that easy. geez. and once its up there, let it do its magic. and DO NOT stick another tampon in withought taking the other one out. you could have 5 tampons inside you all the way up to your stomach. bye! dramaqueenbabeiwb answered Friday October 1 2004, 9:22 pm: no, they don't hurt at all, and you probably don't feel a thing.
Steps
1. Wash your hands and sit down.
2. Use your index finger and thumb to open your vagina.
3. Gentley place the tampon inside leaving the string out.
4. If the wrapper is open before you use it, throw it away. It might not be clean.
~And that wasn't a dumb question. A lot of girls have questions like that. Not a stupid question at all. [ dramaqueenbabeiwb's advice column | Ask dramaqueenbabeiwb A Question ]
xbrunettecutiex answered Friday October 1 2004, 8:55 pm: it will show you how to put them in on the box and don't wear one for more than 4 hours at a time and make sure its in all the way od you will be able to feel. If it in all the way and in propertly you won't feel a thing. One last thing relax, if your tense it won't go in and don't get frustrated if its not perfect at first just use a new one [ xbrunettecutiex's advice column | Ask xbrunettecutiex A Question ]
Karen answered Friday October 1 2004, 8:42 pm: They don't hurt when you have them in there. It will take a while to get used to them but you can hardly feel them and it seems like you are wearing nothing lol. To put a tampon in is quite easy yet some people always get confused or scared. First you have to clean you hands, open the wrapping to the tampon, and all that stuff. After that, just squat down and take your thumb and pointer finger and put them on the grip. Then you just stick the tampon up in there until your two fingers touch your skin "down there". Right then, take your pointer finger and push the stick until the tampon comes out. And that's how you put a tampon in! To take one out, you have to wait about 5-7 hours and you just have to pull the string and the tampon will come out. Don't worry, the tampon won't get stuck in there. ON the tampon box, there are directions about putting a tampon in and it explains it better than me lol! Hope I helped :) [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
Laura answered Friday October 1 2004, 8:40 pm: They feel awkward. They don't hurt unless they're in wrong. If they hurt, they are probably not in far enough and need to be pushed in a little farther. Be sure to put the applicator ALL the way up, or else it hurts.
