GOiNCRAZi4HiM answered Friday October 1 2004, 11:04 am: theres much more other problems to be worrying about in this world darling <3 . theres so many people who have problems with their voice , that are physical problems. hunny, if someone doesnt like you for your voice- they would find other things not to like people for - so they arent cool enough for you. you'll find many people that will like you for you, not your voice . xo <3 [ GOiNCRAZi4HiM's advice column | Ask GOiNCRAZi4HiM A Question ]
Mz_Laudie answered Friday October 1 2004, 10:13 am: Believe it or not, your not the only one with that problem, well sorta. My friend Lanie has the opposite problem she has an incredibly high pitched squeaky voice. People make fun of her because she sounds like shes 6, but she learns to deal. One day youll realise its just a voice, Lanie got over it, and now that shes confident people like her. So smile. [ Mz_Laudie's advice column | Ask Mz_Laudie A Question ]
MoonFisher answered Friday October 1 2004, 12:51 am: Low voices can be sexy when you become an older woman. Try keeping your voice low and just concentrate on making it softer, like a phone sex operator, lol. Our voices are pretty much hereditary or genetic, so you can't really make it higher. Just smile when you talk and try to keep it from being raspy. As for the people who make fun of you, try a great comeback, like, "My voice may be low, but your boyfriend sure came fast when we had phone sex last night." Not really, but you DO need to learn to laugh off these jackasses, or just punch them in the face, whatever you are more comfortable with. Don't let people put you down. In the real, adult world, you could file charges against a co-worker for that crap. [ MoonFisher's advice column | Ask MoonFisher A Question ]

xoRachel answered Thursday September 30 2004, 10:04 pm: My friend has the same problem. She has a sort of hoarse voice too and all the guys think that it's sexy when she talks. Don't worry about it.. there's no way to make it higher and if you try to talk different people will make fun of you even more. As you get older your voice will change more.. it still might be a little low but guys will think it's sexy. Hope I helped! Leave me one if I can do anything else for you! =c)
S_C answered Thursday September 30 2004, 9:26 pm: there isn't much of a way to change it, I have a pretty deep voice, except when I sing. I used to just make excuses, but a lot of guys actually like that. And when people make fun, just go along and lauch. My science teacher last year used to pick with me (i knew her really well 'cause I'm friends with her daughter and I also had her in 6th grade) Just laugh with them, and make fun of yourself. There are probably remedies, or superstitions that'll make your voice higher, try go somewhere like bored.com, and see if they have a page on superstitions.
