Jealous of the Pretty Gurlz
For some reason pretty girls make me jealous. I don't have a man that I think they will steal but just seeing them makes me hate myself even more then I already do. There are only 2 things I like about myself, my eyes and my voice. But there are all these pretty girls out there and I am just not one of them. I don't know how to make myself feel better about it. I have tried making myself look good...but I can't even do that. Any idea on how I can get over this?! PLZ ~N~ thank you!

It's not the pretty girls, its the ones who are pretty on the inside that go places in life. I am one of the pretty girls and I am going no where with my life. My dad told me that when I was like 10 years old. Just ignore them and be happy that you are you, hope you feel better sweetsz - xOo . jenny <3

Revel in the fact that you probably are very pretty too, but in a less molded and generic way. You really are your worst critic. So stop hating yourself.
At the very least, you can type semi-coherently, so feel special about that if nothing else.

Just compliment yourself and always look at the positive sides of things, behind every pretty girl there is a defect, or something of some sort, no ones perfect remember that... self confidence is the key... when you start thinking of yourself as pretty thats when other people think of you as pretty also

In all honesty, your just the average female. Every girl goes around thinking thoughts like that, usually due to the way media depicts celebrites and models, women think that if its in a magazine, it must be right to look like that, and get jealous about it, and look down upon themselves. Sometimes it can get to serious and can cause eating disorders n shit, but im sure thats not what your going through. Just forget about it, everybody is different, and you may not think your pretty, but most girls don't, when i'm sure you actually are pretty. Nice eyes are good, and it may not seem it, but alot of guys go for girls that have nice eyes...dont make me explain it because its so hard, but its true, believe me. So don't worry, your mind may say your not pretty, but other people think you are. Hope i helped, :-)

Okay well to tell you... you are pretty and it comes from with in yourself! I am not pretty and i am sorta popular, well people tell me that. I am not as pretty as some people but i am up there. Like i said your beautiful inside yourself! Beauty comes from with in! Who cares if your not as pretty as some girls in your school (that is only what you think) Guys go for girls to their own type and you are the type most guys go for!

Try not to worry about it much. Im kinda the same way with girls, especially my really pretty friends. Ive had people tell me my friends are soo hot and then ive had people tell me that im prettier then them cause im a better person.
Just remember that looks dont make up who a person is. Some girls are soooooo pretty and yet they treat people like crap and are just not nice people all together, and then some are really nice and same goes for not so pretty.
Its whats on the inside that counts. Im sure you pretty, everyone is pretty in their own way.
You need to be comfortable with the way you look. Do your hair nice, put on a little makeup, wear an outfit that flatters you and walk around like your the hottest thing at your school.
Confidence also make someone alot prettier, if you walk around with your head down and feel like your ugly people will notice that. If you walk around totally confident, thinking you look good other people will too.

hi, hmm well jelousy is something that u cant relly control...ur born with it...there are Million's and Billions of pretty gurls out there...one is prettier then the other...some ppl think that jessica simpson is very pretty some ppl dont...some ppl think that angelina joily (w/e her name is lol)is prettier and hotter...and bla bla...each and everyone has their own taste...what i'm tryin to say is that who ever u think its pretty...there are other girls that are prittier then them...or some ppl might think so...or w/e w/e..Listen if you cant love your self and appriciate what you got...you wont b abel to love anyone...hmm i dunno how to explain this to you but what i'm tryin to say is that each and everyperson in this world...has their own unique look....i dont kno but being jelous of pretty girls is not a good thing..b/c jelousy gets u to do stuff that you never thought u could do...hmmm what could help u stop being jelous is thinkin of ur self that your much better...and everything...if you dress up and wear make up a lil...and i duno fix yr self...and ur hair and bla bla...gurl...i'm sure u'll fit in that "group"..trust me each and everygurl has their own beauty ;)..now i'm sure ur pretty and everything...so put a lil effort in it ;) and u'll see the results :-D i dunno i'm tryin to explain here and help.IT'S all in being confident ;) besides guys love dat!..i hope i did even though a lil xoxo effy

I`m the total opposite...i try to be friends w/ pretty girls altho i'm not sure why.
Think of it this way: if YOU don't think you're pretty, how can you excpect other to? When i look in the mirror i tell myself that i like how i look and i have a positive attitude. It really helps because then you seem so bright and positive about yourself and people will see that. Be confident.
