Hey~I think that you and your friend should both get $20.00. Unless there are only 2 kids, then that is enough, but if there are three or more, then you should be getting $20.00 each at least.

Yah, that's great! But 3 1/2 hours is long for $30. Try getting up to $40 so you can both spilt it up and have $20! Babysitting's hard work, so you need to get payed well =)

i usually babysit for 4-5 dollars an hour so if i babysat for 3 1/2 hours, i would make 12-15 dollars, which seems fair for me. it also sorta depends if the child is extrememly calm or out of control and takes lots of energy. in my opinion, 15 dollars for the both of you is enough. i hope i helped!

i work alone, and i charge 6$ an hour and a dollar more an hour per extra kid.
so if theres one kid, and they gave u 30$..then u got about 10 an hour, split between you two is 5. so thats close to what i charge. even if theres two kids, its still good, because u each got 5$ an hour to watch 1 kid each..

Yeah, usually I get five dollars an hour. Just don't ask for more because the parents might get mad, or worse, get someone else.
