use the strongest holding gel you can find, and apply all over barely-damp hair after showering, running your hands pressed together along your hair to press it in. not only will it eliminate frizz, but it will flatten out your hair over all, plus give you that just-out-of-the-shower look. tres sexy.

try "citre shine shine miracle" or something like that. I used to have super thick super frizzy hair and when i put that in it it made my hair MUCH less frizzy. It's about $8 i think and lasts FOREVER bc you only have to use a tiny bit each time.

well...

i don't know if this helps but...

ever tried putting moose all through your hair? then blow dry it while brushing it WHILE flipping over your head.

another tip...

just blow dry it for a while, while brushing it out. usually it makes your hair more soft. but i don't know about thin.

hope that helps!

first off... don't wash your hair alot because that is what makes it frizzy even though it doesn't seem that way. wash it at the least once a week and at the most 3 times a week. my suggestion is to wash it at night then blow dry it then straighten it. i suggest you use garneir frutice ( i know i didn't spell that right) use the sleek and shiny one... it's new i use that and it works. also use john frieda's frizz ease hair serum in out of control.

get biosilk, apply some on your hair before and after you straighten it..it works great! You could also go to a salon and ask them what kinda products you could buy. Because the sylists work with all types of hair and they'll help you.

ElementaryHustler answered Saturday September 18 2004, 6:03 pm:
I have the same problem so I always pulled my hair up and gelled it and hair sprayed it and all. As soon as I get out of the shower I put 2 products called Frizz Ease and paul mitchell striaghtening cream in my hair and then I either let my hair air dry or blow dry it. And I do striaghten it. It takes forever when you first start doing. But the products really help it. Your not going to see dramatic changes until you use this stuff awhile. And instead of using a striaghtener use a flat iron. They work a whole lot better. And if none of this works for you try getting a relaxer. Sometimes they work and sometimes that don't but it does alot of damage to your hair and most people say its a waste. I hope I helped.

Hey there. Well, I know exactly what you are going through. My hair is really think and it's like naturally wavy/curly/ FRIZZY! A lot of times no matter how many products we use or what we do to are hair it's still blah!! Even though you wash your hair everyday, that doesn't necessarily reduce frizz (especially if you live in a really human place like i do). Here are some suggestion for you to think about:
-Invest in a Chi Blow Dryer (Made from the same wonderful people that brought you the Chi Straightener) $150 at places like Ulta BUT it reduces the blow drying time Ie: what would take you 45 minutes straight with a regular blow dryer takes just a mere 10 with the chi blow dryer..and it totally illiminates frizz!! (also you may wnat to attach a diffuzer to it or a reg. blow dryer
-you could buy a chi straightener which also reduces the time of straightening compared ot normal straighteners (about the same price as the dryer)
-Buy THERMAL ACTIVE SETTING SPRAY!! It is made my Biloage and this stuff is AMAZING...it's a spray and makes your hair hold, smells good, lowers amount of frizzies but unlike hair spray it doesnt make your hair knotty or stiff!!! $10 a bottle
-Try Kiwi Blow serum $8 when blow drying to also speed up process and ruduce frizz
-scrunch your hair with an alcohol free gel or a maximun (i like chlarol hermal essenses maximun hold) mouse and then apply the thermal active setting spray to make it really hold then on low heat blow dryu to get dampness out and still have a soft look
-blow dry your hair just enough so that it's dry not totally straight and set it in over night rollers and when rolling apply thermal active setting spray and then run over iwth blow dryer for 5 minutes to lock in good curls
-wear your hair up in a normal pony tail but add one of those blended hair colored scrunchies for a new look
-also make sure to conditioner only on your ends no scalp and you may want to try either john friedas shampoo or biologe shampoo and conditioner

good luck :)

Ok, to make your hair straighter, smoother, and less frizzier, I use Straight Works from Paul Mitchell and it costs $14.95. You can find it at any hair salon. It's like a gel substance so I put it in my hair when my hair is damp. Even though it's expensive, it works so well! I let my hair air dry and then flat iron it with a 3 inch flat iron. I know you said you hate straightening your hair but it's worth the time lol! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask them! Hope I helped and good luck :)
