You can pay for songs with Itunes, but you can also take songs from CDs and put them on your Ipod. Or you can steal songs form the internet. :P ]
You can go to www.itunes.com and there is a monthly fee. I don't think it's too much money, or if you really like songs that you already have on CD's or already on your computer, you could transfer those to your new iPod =) ]
Heres what sucks..you pay 99 cents a song. isnt that nuts? Id just download em through limewire or kazaa and then transfer em onto an i-pod. I think they come with a few free downloads, but after that, get someother program to download music. ]
I-pods for 1 suck...haha go back to good ol' cd players!! you download songs for I-pod...they only work on YOUR I-pod....cds go everywhere not just your I-pod...what if it breaks!? yikes waste of download!!!
yikes good luck!

If you buy the IPOD, then it will come with a program that you can download songs for free. Just a warning - it is illegal, but you can download a song for 99 cents legally. You choice though, and good luck!
By the way here is a site that I found that might interest you. I've heard it is not a scam, but I am not positively sure.
Here's the site: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) ]
