Mercy_x_Me answered Friday September 3 2004, 9:54 pm: Jessica should try taking two showers a day. It may seem like a lot, but some people just need it. Shes probably going through puberty right now and rarely does that sort of case last. But anyway when she gets in that shower she should take a bar of soap and scrub it on a wash cloth and then mix some shower gel, she needs to scrub her fricken pits like 5 minutes at the least each, i know it sounds complicated but it will kill tons of those germs. She also needs to dress in layers. When it gets cold sweatshirt, cute tee, tank top. When she starts feeling like shes hot and she might sweat she needs to get down to that tank top. And as far as deodarant try using teen spirit stick and not two little scrubs of it i mean like atleast 20 long counted scrubs of deodarant on each pit. Then, use body spray. Wow, i know this sounds really long but if she does all this she most likely wont sweat i guarentee, tell me what happens!! if you or her need any help send one to my inbox, thanks!!:-D [ Mercy_x_Me's advice column | Ask Mercy_x_Me A Question ]

Laura answered Friday September 3 2004, 9:42 am: Make sure your friend shaves her under arms. That will help. Then, try a deodorant that says "anti-persperant(sp?)" or "stops sweating". After she puts the deodorant on, tell her to put baby powder on. That should work. If not, see a doctor. She could have a problem.
xo_Ali answered Friday September 3 2004, 8:49 am: Dear trying to help a friend!,
You friend should go see the doctor. That way she'll get the best help. That way he/she can perscribe anyipersperants to help. Good luck! [ xo_Ali's advice column | Ask xo_Ali A Question ]
xxxxxx answered Friday September 3 2004, 6:46 am: i heard that you can go to the doctor to get perscription anti persperant, or go to a drugstore and purchase "Certain Dri" (i think that's what it is) and it will stop your sweating completetly... look it up! my friend uses it and she doesn't sweat anymore! FernGully answered Friday September 3 2004, 3:02 am: Well, aside from deoderant has she tried anti-perspirants? Deoderant alone doesn't stop sweating. She may however, have a medical condition and she might want to consider visiting a doctor to be safe. It will most likely just be her body since everyone is different.
If regular anti-perspirants don't work and a doctor decides she's still healthy, there are special anti-perspirants made for people who are exceptionally sweaty. She's not alone at least. [ FernGully's advice column | Ask FernGully A Question ]
HollyAnn2282 answered Friday September 3 2004, 2:28 am: They sell this stuff at the store and its really cool like you put it on before bed and it lasts up to 24 hours and it like clogs the pors to your arm pits... and like makes it so you dont sweat under there. I dont know what its called but you can ask your doctor about it..
