Or if you don't know how to swim already, take some lessons. You can also see a psychologist + they can try to talk to you about it. And I've heard of hypnosis helping people, but I don't know anyone who's experienced it firsthand, so I can't tell you for sure. I guess you could give it a try anyways. Good luck =) [ xo_dream's advice column | Ask xo_dream A Question ]

There is a famous saying "What will be will be"
If you are careful then you will be OK I used to have that problem to.

girdy_goo15 answered Tuesday August 31 2004, 1:04 pm: you just have to face it. tell yourself that you can't be overcome by it and just don't think about the water. then when you get by water say a pool. just jump in. don't even think about it. and you mite need to talk to a swim instructer about it. so just face it and conquere it. Roxybabii922 answered Tuesday August 31 2004, 12:00 pm: Try and take swimming lessons, the swim instructer like holds your belly until you finally get it on your own, once you know how to swim you wont have much of a fear and it will be easier for you to go in deeper water [ Roxybabii922's advice column | Ask Roxybabii922 A Question ]
Laura answered Tuesday August 31 2004, 11:48 am: Take some swimming lessons. Just be sure to tell your instructor about your fear, but I think swimming lessons would REALLY help you. Then you would KNOW that you wouldn't drown, because you can swim. It helped me.
