okay i like this guy and he likes me. well the other day he asked me out and i said yes but 2 days after, were already broken up ! he said he needs to get to know me better and i totally agree no hard feelings there but what i dont get is why cant we get to know each other by going out? i asked him why he asked me out and then broke up but he said "i jus dont think i really know u well enough" or does he not want to go out and thats why he said that, but like after that hes like i still like u but i jus wanna get to know u better maybe wen school starts. and the day after i seen him at the movies and i waved and smiled--so did he and i knew i liked him alot. do you think we eventually will go back out ? or do you think he jus doesnt like me even though he said he did ..

Sweetie.. I was in the same situation. In school last year I met this guy. and we started talking and stuff.. and he asked me out... well like the next day we broke up because we didnt know each other well enough. and I asked him the same thing you did. Why we couldnt get to know each other by going out. I still continued to talk to him. and yesterday I hung out with him.. and he told me he really really liked me.. and that he always has and now we are together. I'm sure that if he didnt like you. He would tell you he didnt like you.and if he didnt like you he wouldnt of asked you out. So just get to know him better.. and let things go from there..

I think that he's afraid of a relationship or commitment, and it sounds like he's still making excuses. Honey, you deserve a much better guy than this. If he asks you out, go for it, but otherwise don't bother.

Hmm..well he mite be nervous about the holding hands and kissing stuff.. you never know. Or he might really want to get to know you better. From what happend at the movies i get the feeling that he probably does like you. Check out his like 'background' with other girls. Has he had a lot of girlfriends and been touchy feely with them? Or just a couple that were kinda akward? Maybe you'll get a hint from that. There is a possibility he mite just want to have let u down easy but i mean if hes still hanging around you and smiling n waving then I really think he likes you and mite be nervous.
