then it's obvious you just need to be yourself. I mean nobody likes a fake or a phony. Come on let people like you for you! you don't want people liking someone you arent then you show ur true self and they hate it. Be who you really are and if they still don't like you forget them they suck. You just need to be you cuz nobody else has the pleasure of being you. It's always fun to be different i think. Good Luck. Keep asking questions I'm always here.

Will you listen to yourself? "When I stopped trying to fit in and actually started being myself people started talking to me WAY more than they did before" You just solved your own problem. Be yourself and stop caring about what others think about you.

You answered your own question! When you started being yourself, people wanted to be around you more. People are attracted to those who are confident and happy in themselves.

You may have changed or your friends may have changed - that's something that just happens as people get older. It's nothing which can be helped; sometimes people just grow in different directions.

I think the best thing to do is to continue to be the 'you' that you like best - wearing/acting/being whatever makes you most comfortable and happy. Soon, you'll find people who share your attitudes and end up with friends who care more about you than their own reputations.

Dont worry..maybe THEY are the ones who changed. I think you answered your own question..just be yourself, dont try so hard, and lots of people will start talking to you. :)

sounds like you are trying too hard!
if people like you more when you are yourself why not just be yourself 100% of the time. also someone who is popular today may not be popular in a couple years or even just one, so why worry maybe next year you will be at the head of the school!!! why do kids these days think so much about popularity? some will change how the act, dress, even drop all the friends they have to look like someone let's say britney spears and be popular. in the long run...is it really worth it?

Well my advice is to be yourself then it sounds to me they want you to be who you are instead of acting like someone else. When you start acting like yourself, then maybe everyone would want to be your friend again. Hoped i helped.
