I jus got signed with an agent for my voice!! and in 3 weeks im supposed to go to L.A. to record my first cd!! im so excited...but im really nervous and sad ill have to leave my friends in my freshman year. i know i should take the job considering ill be BiG and i really wanna see my name in lights but im so scared ill lose my friends while im gone and all the new friends ill make (celebs maybe :)) will not turn out to be real and ill be all alone! what to do!? HELP!

Congratulations! That's really cool. You should take every opportunity you get. It's great that you care for your friends, but this is for you, not them. If they are your true friends, they won't just drop you, and if they do, you'll still have family.

hey my sister knows how u feel. she has a record out and she is barley at home. i do miss her but i know she loves what she does and i know u will do. u can always make new friends. and u might not even have to! my sister is still friends with all her old friends! so dont worry about it! go for the golL! i know its a hard choice but how many times does this oppritunity come up?! Just stay real and keep in touch with people that mean something to you. Just be a real person and don't let things go to your head. Sow your friends that fame has not changed who you really are. You simply have a talent just like everyone else. Some people just need to find theirs. Just stay real, don't let it go to your head and don't dump on people on your way up... :)

Tell all your friends that you'll miss them all very much! Let them know how much you care about them and be sure to tell them that, even though you are a celeb-to-be, they are the #1 friends in your life. Promise to send them all a postcard, and call them up every other day or instant message them / e-mail them if you can.

So while you're working call your friends up and talk to them frequently, see what they're up to and you can fill them in with your new exciting lifestyle. You should deffinately go and record your CD, if you do lose the contract or it doesnt work out, then you can come back. Your friends cant be mad at you for taking the opertunity of a lifetime and trying to reach your dreams!

Well when you go just stay in contact with your friends, make sure you have all of their numbers and call them bunches when you're there, that way you dont drift apart, if they are real friends they'll be there supporting you all the way, true friends stay :-)

congratulations on your achievement. of course there is nervousness and sadness cause of leaving your friends and such but if you go and take the job there is a chance you'll be able to have a good and better life ahead of ya and when you get rich you can always go back to your friends and visit and such. To tell you the truth this is your decision and of what you should do, cause noone knows what will happen if you suceed or not but if an agent signed something with you, you must have some talent and will be good at it. I really do hope things work out for you. I hope i helped.
