AdviceGuruGirl answered Tuesday August 17 2004, 12:45 am: If this is your best friends boyfriend, the BEST thing you can do is to BACK OFF. Even when they break up, you should still not try to hook up. Best friends exes are not a good thing to mess with. Try to find another guy...you may like this guy when there is no trouble, but believe me...if you try stealing him from your best friend, you will cause more trouble than you bargained for! Hope I helped! If you have any more questions, leave them in my inbox!! I am more than happy to help!

Cody answered Monday August 16 2004, 7:12 pm: wow,
Not a very good crush to have, as many problems can arise from this situation. DO NOT in any event act on, or talk about this crush in front of him or your bestfreind. Also even if/when they do break up, DO NOT start flirting with him or come on to him immediately after the break up because this will aslo cause huge problems between you and your best freind.I recommend you forget about him all together. But if this is not possible think about him all you like just never act on it for your own sake. I would either look for a different guy or wait for them to break up(but do not in anyway incite this breakup). I'm sure they will break up, as many relationships at your age do not last much longer than a few weeks or a month.(i'm guessing your age to be about 13-15) Once they do break up give it AT LEAST a full week if not 2 weeks before you make your move.

You should pRobably tRy to just foRget about him - he's taken... by youR best fRiend.. end of stoRy. The best way to get oveR someone is to find a new infatuation. Goodluck!!
