i have thin/medium thick hair and i have no idea what to do with it! its naturally curly but it turns out frizzy so i usually end up straightening it and that takes a while.. can anyone IM me on AIM/AOL with any suggestions on what to do, then explain how to do them? i'm on all AIM the time so dont worry about me not being on.. my sn is xXxHaRtBrOkN5xXx thanks!! (it would be easier to IM me and tell me the hairstyles, but if you dont have AIM/AOL just leave it on here! thanks!)

blue_mist808 answered Thursday August 12 2004, 1:27 pm: they have this stuff in salons called revlon heat glide, and if you blowdry your hair as straight as you can, seperate it into layers and put like 2 squirts on each layer and then flat iron it, it comes out SMOOTH! its awesome! hope that helps <333 [ blue_mist808's advice column | Ask blue_mist808 A Question ]
xxxxxx answered Thursday August 12 2004, 12:54 pm: Once a week, you should leave conditioner in your hair for a half hour before you wash it out. It WILL help. My hair dresser told me that (but I don't have frizzy hair, she suggested it for everyone) but yeah it will tone down your hair. Wash it out with cold water too. It will make is shinier! Try a hair serum as well. Straightening it after will probably totally de-friz it. Or you can crunch your hair when it's curly. Hope I helped. [ xxxxxx's advice column | Ask xxxxxx A Question ]
lorelei answered Thursday August 12 2004, 5:25 am: Two words, babe: Frizz Ease. Check out your drugstore, they have serum, shampoo and conditioner that'll help make your hair less frizzy.
Also, after washing, use a moisturizing conditioner. I'd suggest sectioning your hair, applying the conditioner to each section and rubbing it in really well using your hands. When you're done with that, toss on a plastic cap for about 10 minutes, and rinse really well.
Oe try using soft pillow covers on your bed pillows (satin, silk, etc). Cotton and polyester pillow covers can make your hair frizzy sometimes too. [ lorelei's advice column | Ask lorelei A Question ]
