on my friend Greg's LJ it has this little paddlelock on the top of his past couple entries. What does that mean. In the entries from like a month ago don't have them and he said something about making his journal friends only so is that why that paddlelock is there

Yeah, the padlock is there only for is journal friends to see it and not for the public to see. Hope I helped! <3

My friend Ben has it, you have to hav a live journal and you have to be on his friends list to be able to view his entries

the padlock means that the security level on the entry is friends only. since you are obv. on his friends list, you can see the padlock and the entry. if someone isnt' on his list they would not be able to see his entry at all. so basically if he's making his journal friends only, you just have to make sure you log in every time before reading it!
