A couple of my friends always tell me that im so gorgeous and they wish they looked like me n stuff... yeah, its flattering but it makes me feel uncomfortable and a lil guilty or something. should i do something? or what can i do so that i wont feel uncomfortable... thank u
laynemayhem answered Sunday May 16 2010, 12:52 pm: find some aspect about your friends that you don't have, but would love to. like, the next time someone says "god, you're so gorgeous" you could respond "are you kidding? my hair is impossible. you're so lucky to have straight hair" or something like that. i know how you feel with the uncomfort you get out of compliments, so try what i said and it'll stop "bugging" you. :) [ laynemayhem's advice column | Ask laynemayhem A Question ]

You could also compliment them back. Honestly, I don't see why this would make you uncomfortable. Your friends are more than likely telling you the truth. It's not uncommon. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]

I mean, certainly don't lie.. but, compliment the person back.
