I'm sorry to hear that you're miserable, I hate to know when people feel bad!! This guy "Jake" seems like a real stud, but there will be other guys. First off, ask yourself the question, "Am I ready for a long distance relationship?" I know you may not know this, or maybe you do, but they are really hard and about 90% of them end up not working. I don't mean to shatter your hopes or anything, but it's very likely that you're just crushing over this guy!! To pass up time, try hanging out with friends, ya know, like going to the mall, watching a movie, etc ..It always works!! =)

Aww I'm sorry you're miserable, its okay though!! =D To get the time to pass by faster, is by having fun and going out to places, like the mall, friends house, whatever you like to do for fun. And the way to get over him is you can't compare EVERY guy you see to him. That'll just make you keep liking him over and over and over. So, when you see a guy, don't automatically think of that *Jake* guy because then you'll never get over him. You have to have fun and in order to meet a guy, try going to the mall, the pool, the beach, anything that would be filled with guys. And just go up to them and be friendly and ask for there name and stuff and if one of them catches your eye, slip them a note and be like "You're hot, call me" and give them your number. Hope this helps and good luck! Have fun! =P

xoxo Kourtney

You are never going to meet someone just like jake... jake is his own person and if you like him he must be speacial and my bf is gone to from thurs-tues and i cant talk to him while he is gone! I miss my bf but I just pass time by catching a movie or going over to my grandpa's (theres always half the neighborhood there) ill call someone or go to someones house or just go riding bike-trix

The way to make time pass is going to be easy. Just have fun. Don't think about him, don't worry about getting over him, flirt with guys, since you aren't really dating him, and you know, blow him out of your mind. I know that sounds really immature, but it should work
Good Luck

i had the same problem...well u just have a major case of crush as did i. there really isnt a way to get over him or not to think about. try and find a new guy maybe...that you would have a better chance with and go head over heals for him. even though "jake" will always be with you somehow, theres room for many more. life sucks at points...i know.

hope u get better <3

So you really like *Jake* but you want to get over him because you wont see him until next summer. I'm guessing by the time school starts and your packed with homework and hanging with friends, you'll completely forget about him. Right now the best thing to do is hang out with your friends and other guys. Dont think about him as much and when he comes home from camp, gradually talk to him less and less. I hope you can find someone new! Good luck hun!!
