I have the worst habit of falling for guys really easy just as long as they're cute and nice. I have the tendancy to not only fall for them but to also obsess over them (read their online journals, get involved with their social life, etc) even when they've never met me before. Also, if I find out that a guy likes me, then I usually fall for him too. It's really annoying. How do I get over this stupid obsession of boys?

Ahhh,boys can be great can't they??Hehehe!But I think you should take some time out for just you.Focus on the things you like to do,maybe a sport or a hobby.Also,take time to experience new things in life,and to find new things you like,remind yourself of all your good qualities and keep that self-esteem up.Hang out with your girlfriends and have a good time just being you!You'll find that boys are much more attracted to a girl who is just being herself,having a good time,and not trying too hard.It will happen when you least expect it!! ;)

dont worry alot of girls in highschool do this sometimes it gets way to far but as long as ur not takin it way to far then it will be ok... guys will get creeped out so u needa tone it down and try not to think about it at all.. guys will come and go in ur life.. and so u shouldnt really worry just take things slow and try not to think omg im gonna marry them that never helps u will soon grow out of this fase and be happy hope i helped,...Rhiannon

OMG that's sounds like me!! I'd do that to..and i'd have like 8 diferent guys I'd like..everyone would call me desparate and I really hated that becasue I knew that I wasn't. Just think about who you really like over night b4 you tell anyone and just go for that one person. And try not to think of any other guys as potential girlfriends.

It doesn't sound like an obsession. It's an online journal, it's their for everyone to see. It's not like you read his private journal. And how else are you supposed to talk to him if you don't get into his social life by "accidentally" meeting him at the movies? That's how relationships are formed. It doesn't seem unhealthy, it seems like your doing the right thing to get to know him. Just don't start following him to his house or look in his windows at night or anything creepy like that, because there is a place where you draw the line.

You didn't say how old you were,but if you're under about 14,then you're just going through the crush stage. Reading their stuff isn't cool;how would you like it if they read your stuff? It sounds like you like the idea of boys,not actual boys. Trust me,dating really isn't fun. Take your time.
