a hobbie
I love to dance..a lot..i do ballet ..pointe shoe...and i do tap, but i have another passion..i love to act and do commercials. when i was younger i audtionend for an agent and got one, i then was on sesame street..for a couple of years and i did comercials. but when i was 6 or 7... i had to quit. now tht i am at a higher age i want to enroll in that type thing...but i do to much dancing, and my mom is making me choose ..what do i do?

for now if you are young try going for the dancing goal and ask you get older try out for acting and try to get in to julard. hope i helped

Thats really cool cause we both do acting and dancing but i don't do ballet. WOW! Seseame Street! You must of had an exciting child hood. But N*E* ways, i say that you should do what you do best and what you have the most fun doing! Fist off I just think it is so cool that you act and dance!I do both too.Exact same kind of dancing and everything.Of course I never got to do commercials just school plays and stuff.If it was up to me....and we are talking career decision type thing.....I would go for acting.I'll tell you why.Acting they have a higher need for people.Dancing it's like unless you are planning on getting into a school of it or something it's not really worth it.Plus dancing you can only make a profession of until your like 30.That's not that long.Acting on the other hand most are in the business a while.But really it's mainly up to you.Go with what your heart says!The heart tells all!

acting is a great thing to do .... im 13 + I act + model .... i would quit dancing even tho yu love it + act because 99.9% of the time acting will get yu farther yu never kno yu could be the next top actress ... good luck wit which every yu do + i wish the best 4 yu.

hey! i dance too and thats why i wanted to answer your question. well you have to choose the one that you like the most. what i would do is first just try out the acting and commercials and if you like it better then you should do the acting. just do what your heart tells you! hope i helped you!

Try and do wich one your better at i mean acting may not be as fun as it was when you were younger and if your really good at dance then you should stick to it because when you get older you couuld make a very good amout of money and have fun with it but if you feel that acting would be more nteresting it would give your name out there and you could possably become famouse depending on how good you are and plus if you audition fo r a movie about adancing you could mabe even get the lead rold so follow your heart hope i helped let me know how it goes!

I know how you feel with acting.. ive been doing it since i was a baby.. A thing with it is though, it is much easier to open the door for acting when you are younger.. dancing will get you verrry far.. it seems like you are into it alot.. choosing seems very hard because you have a passion for both.. (*~performing arts*~) acting and dancing are much alike.. stick with dancing if you do it alot, you have a very good chance, you portray something when you dance so therefore youre basically acting while dancing.. goOd LucK<3

Well, no one knows how much you love dancing. So your going to have to choose, quit doing something you love, or start something you may really enjoy. It's always good to try new thhings tho! Good luck! Not that many people get the chance to be in commercials!

i think that which ever one you like better, not nessisarly what one you are better at because you might be doing something and then you're just doing it to do it & not because you love it.. i think that which ever one you choose it should be because you like that one better and not because you're taking the easy way out.. once you work at something to get somewhere then you'll feel really good when you finally have your goals accomplished. let me know how it goes!
