Holding Hand Phobia Hey! I have had my boyfriend for almost a year and I truly love him. He recently told me that we need to take it to the next step in our relationshop, and I am very scared of HOLDING HANDS! I've heard nasty things about holding hands, bacteria and even STD's! Everyone holds hands, is there a special protection they use?
Thank you!

You're kidding...right?
Just hold hands...you can't freak out about bacteria. You're breathing bacteria now. You can't get an STD from holding hands, unless you have a cut on your hand and they have a cut on their hand and their blood gets into your bloodstream, which is really unlikely to happen.

NO!! there is no way u can get a damn std from holding hands lol if that wus tru then everyone would have stds!! lol its ok.. if u have been with him for a year and u havent held hands yet..then he really loves u! i hope u guys have kissed...and if u have thats nastier then holding hands but anyway no dont be afraid to hold hands! lol no theres no " hand condomns " lol theres no need at all... thats just like u touching him ]
okay holding hands is not bad at all..if you are truly scared bring some of that anti-bacterial soap in your purse..nd when you are done holding hands use it it kills germs. STD's can only be sexually transmitted..meaning sexual activity..holding hands is in no way sexual activity. ]
Hey, I honestly dont think holding hands can really be that bad, especially if you have ben with this guy for almost a year and you know where hes been and that he is clean. if you are nervous about bacteria use some purel, my bestfriend carries around a lil everywhere she goes just incase. And no i am pretty sure you can not get STD's by holding hands. ]
holding hands does NOT give u any of that stuff! and if ur that cautious of bacteria, wash ur hands after u hold his.... hope i helped

well if u are scared to hold his hand just tell him that u are not up for it and just explain to him why there are pleanty of other things you can do besides holding hands ]
so you've had your boyfriend for almost a year and you've never held his hand? Whoa! thats kinda different but my advice would be like carry whats that stuff called thats like jell and its in a bottle... Oh yeah Hand Sanatizer... Just carry that in your purse and whenever you feel dirty or feel like you just need to be clean put that on... or after you hang out with him come home and wash your hands real well.

Hope i helped ]
I never heard of anyone catching STD's from holding hands, bacteria maybe but I don't think it's very possible. There is really no danger in holding hands. ]
Ok, 1st of all, u cant get an std from holding hands unless he masturbates, then holds hands with you, then you masturbate with that same hand or lick it.(theres a very low chance of that happening!) holding hands is perfectly normal, people who arent even going out hold hands! its friendly and its a way of showing ur affection without doing anything "serious" ]
Okay, I think the reason you have a fear of holding hands is that you've heard of people masturbating and then shaking hands with others. Umm... trust me. Unless your boyfriend jacks off every five minutes, you won't have a problem with that. At least... let's hope not... ]
You can hold his hand, it won't kill you. I'm assuming you're young, considering you've been dating for almost a year, and holding hands is the next step. Whoever has been telling you these things is a liar. It's probably just as dangerous holding your own hand. ]
