Should I date a guy my friend likes?
Ok, there's this guy who I met through my friend. She had a sweet 16th B-day party, and this guy was invited. I think he is her cousin's best friend. Anyway, I haven't seen him since the party, but lately, we started IMing on the computer. I got the screename from my friend. And he sent me all these emails telling me that he likes me. I like him back and we both wanna be in a relationship. The only problem is, my friend likes him to. He's told her that he only likes her as a friend and she knows this. I told her about everything and she says she doesn't mind and she thinks it's cute that we like each other and everything. I just don't know if it's right. Should I go out with him? I'm sooooooooooo confused. Lol. Thanx a bunch.

iVe BeEn iN thE saME sitUation before.. my friend got very upset with me and then got over it.. what your friend is seeming to understand is that the guy likes you and not her... i know you might feel like your doing your friend wrong but sometimes you gotta think about yourself sometimes too.. if he likes you and u like him then try it out.. remember to stay close with your friend she will always be there and guys come and go.. but i think you should go for this guy..

well.... your friend seems okay with it but she could just be hiding her feelings!! Personally I would never do it cuz it really screws up a friendship.. but since she seems oaky with it, i say GO AHEAD!! try n find her a guy that she'll like too so she won't feel so lonely, if u know what i mean!

No, dating a guy that your friend likes will only cause problems between the two of you. Now you can talk to your friend and tell her that you have feeling for this guy and see what she thinks. If she seems upset then it is definately a BAD idea. If she doesn't seem upset then she may be hiding her feelings from you. Wait a while and see how she acts towards you. hope i helped you. If your frienship doesn't mean that much to you guys, then go for it, but don't try to hurt her.

Your friend will probaly say she doesnt mind but shes just trying to be a good friend. Talk to her about it and tell her to be honest and that if she really likes him, you wont make a move. Tell her that no guy should come between your friendship. You are a great friend and if she is one too she will understand. Go for it. Dont brag about it around her. A true friend wouldnt want to ruin your chance in a great relationship if she says its ok. Rate me plz

hey. ok well i think you should cal your friend up and simply say, "i kno im making this into a big deal i just dont want you to get hurt. ik u said its fine but if its not i wont be mad if you let me know." if she says its fine, it probably is. im sure your friend wouldnt mind, she may feel a little sad at first but shed find someone else. if you do end up going out with this guy maybe you could hook her up wiht one of his friends. your friend probably appreciates that your concerned.
