hey its shelly. on thing that my friend told me that her bf did for v-day for her was a candle light dinner, just the two of them with lunchables. then they watched a really good movie. it was really sweet. (also treating her like the queen of the world helps.)

there are so many things you could do! you could take her out for dinner* send her flowers* write her a poem* open doors for her* call her when she leasts expects it* write her a letter* kiss her cheek* take her some where and lay down and hold her and look at the stars together and tell her how you feel* take her to the mall or something and offer her something to eat or drink before she asks* or if you live by the beach take her to the beach and just have a long walk at night! some of these things are little and some are big but all of it matters! girls love when guys do little things for them just to show they care about them and love them! =)

You should let her know things from the heart. Give her little surprises on what you think she might enjoy, even if it's just bringing her on a suprise walk on the beach. It's the little things that guys do that really impress a girlfriend that loves her man the most. The simplest things can make a girl feel loved, just tell her you love her... you dont want to have girls that you have to spend all your cash on...it just makes them seem needy. and make it seem like it wasn't love she was after...but the cash flow

Give her a present, but something from the heart. Or chocolate. Everyone love chocolate. Take her somewhere solitary and romantic, like under a bridge or on a hill looking at the *stars*.

I agree with the advice that Girlwithamansname gave you about affection that isn't too sexual. For example, brushing her hair out of her eyes, and believe it or not, kissing her on the hand while hand holding or on the cheek is sooooo sweet. Being chivalrous and being a gentleman are a sure thing. When you are out together, even at the mall, take the initiative a buy her a drink/soda BEFORE she asks. This shows that you were aware of even the most basic of her needs. Thoughtfulness isn't expensive.

Try taking her out, or sending her flowers with a poem attatched. Girls love when a guy gets mushy and gives her things. :)

It's nice that you want to do something romantic. I just want to warn you that if you try too hard then it could seem a bit tacky or, if you go too far, like you're practically a stalker.

Simple stuff is usually good.

Make sure you touch her lots in a non-sexual way because that will make her feel good about herself.

Compliments are good but be careful about how you word them because it might come out the wrong way.

Steer clear of tacky commercial style gifts and stuff like that.

I'm sorry that this advice is mostly a bunch of negatives but I hope I helped a bit.

girls love thing that are planned in advance, like a really nice dinner or do something spontaniese, like just if you are walking to your car with her, grab her hand and start dancing, that is what we consider romantic, good luck
