I am 13 going on 14 and only 5'2 . I am tired of wearing super high heels as my mum hates it when i do this , and on top of that , my crush is about 5'11 !!! . Thats like , 9 whole inches taller than me .Which means that I only reach up till his shoulder , not wearing heels .
( He's 14 going on 15 ) Do you think that i am too short for him ? How can i grow taller ?? ( I know it seems impossible to MAKE myself grow taller , but any special diet suggestions ? )

Girl, when it comes to love, it don't matter about height! I'm 5'2 too! And I read in a magazine, that guys DIG girls who are shorter than them. So, take OFF those high heels and show the real YOU! I know TONS of 5'6-6 ft guys who have crushes on me, and i've dated a guy who was really tall, and now i'm dating a guy who's shorter than me. So it doesn't matter HOW tall or short you are...it just depends on how BIG your heart is. Hope that helps!

I don't think your crush will particularly mind if you're short.

Siren_Cytherea answered Wednesday May 19 2004, 9:38 pm: Honey, I'm 5'3 and my boyfriend's 6 feet tall.
You are not too short for him. I had a guy once where there was almost 12 inches of height difference. Lol.
You can't speed up your growth. Heels are really the only way to increase height. But, don't worry too much about it. Height is not that big of an issue. You have a long while to keep growing - chances are you won't be that height forever. Are your parents short? My mom's 5'4.5 and my dad's 5'8. I'm gonna stay this height, but if you have tallish parents, chances are you're gonna grow more. I mean, you're only 13! You have a long while. =)
Besides, some guys like shortish girls. Embrace your issue!
Just a word of advice - don't kiss standing up too long. You'll get a neckache. Trust me. =P
Or, do - that gives you an excuse to ask for a massage. Lol. Good luck!

ArisuStarr answered Wednesday May 19 2004, 4:30 pm: 5'2 isn't really that short..
Plus, height is overrated. Tall women want to be shorter, short women want to be taller. It's life.
If you want to appear taller, try vertical stripes on pants, as they'll make your legs look longer, and same goes for your torso.
You can also make your hair more fluffy, so it sticks up more and adds a bit of height.
Of course, if your crush likes you, he won't care how tall you are. [ ArisuStarr's advice column | Ask ArisuStarr A Question ]
Paris answered Wednesday May 19 2004, 2:07 pm: There is no magic cure for anything let alone our height. If there were, everyone would be at their ideal height. It's mostly genetics, if you have tall parents, you'll naturally be tall as well. Playing sports or taking calcium is known to help people grow taller but there's no gurantee. Anyway, you can never be too short for anyone. You're worried about nothing. Look at Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith! She is 5' and he is 6'4!! [ Paris's advice column | Ask Paris A Question ]
DJ answered Wednesday May 19 2004, 9:05 am: Most men find tall women intimidating. In fact, you're taller than most of the women I know and I'm 28. Bottom line is I don't think your height will play much of a role. Unless you go to school with every player in the WNBA. Then you would be in trouble. But since you don't (do you?) you can take comfort in the fact that he probably thinks of himself as a short guy. The man is 5'11, not exactly Shaq here! And there are alternatives to heels that are just as stylish but comfortable at the same time. [ DJ's advice column | Ask DJ A Question ]
