What to do for a second date?

Question Posted Tuesday January 20 2004, 11:06 am

Well I think the subject pretty much gives away what I'm going to ask you...what should we do?

We went to see a film (The Last Samurai btw) on Sunday.

I'm 16, he's 18. Clubbing (my friends suggestion) is not really an option).

Any ideas?

For a second date. Hmmm.... in all honesty i don't think that clubbing is a good idea only that alot or drugs and alcohol come into the picture. Try something like going out to dinner and a walk on the beach i did that with my boyfriend and it worked out.

You could go laser tagging! Laser tag is always fun, and it will save you from any awkward conversation. After that you could go out to eat, so you still get to have some quiet time alone.

Dont go to movies to much because theres not to much socializing going on there. Maybe go to mini golfing or go to a resturant. Go to a football game etc.

Just talk to him about your hobbies and interests and see if he has anything in common with you. It doesn't have to be a conventional date. I mean, if you two like to cook, you could invite him over to bake cookies with him. Try to find a date that will get you two closer like renting movies and watching them with him at your house or eating lunch on a bench at a park where you can talk to him.

Well there's lots of stuff you could do. If you want you can do dinner and a movie again, maybe go to an arcade or carnival, you could go to a coffee place and talk, you could get dinner and walk around go to the park, or window shop. You have alot of options, hope you have a good time -

Whatever answered Tuesday January 20 2004, 7:21 pm:
Did he ask you out for a second date already or are you just assuming he'll ask you out again? Because if he asked you out already, shouldn't he have plans as to where you guys are going? If he hasn't popped up the question yet, I advise you to just tight and wait till he ask you out again. It will seem as if you're very eager to be with him than him to be with you if you make the first move and this might turn him off...If he did ask you out and he let you decide where to go then it's okay. There's lots of things you can do, you can always go watch a movie again (Along came Poly's no.1 in the movies right now)or go to some arcades and play video games. Have fun!

You could try bowling, or going for a meal. You can go to a pub, [working on UK law] as it is permisable for him to buy you non-alchoholic beverages.

Other than that, there's not a whole lot you can do. Maybe go for a walk [park or beach].

ok so the first date you guys saw a movie

not much time for talking while your trying to watch a movie

how about out somewhere to talk
get to know one another
try a coffee shop not a resturant because its so loud and theres alot more people

dont like coffee?
try a park go for a walk on the beach try a peir
any place where you and him can converse
its normally better that way

now maybe my ideas arent for you....im a hopeless romantic -me
