why do you people waste space with these useless questions? ]
Beacause the grass inside your house is blue, dumbass! ]
Chlorophyll my dear... its the cells that take the light and turn it to food, the pigment they give off is green... it you want to get more technical green is the color on the visible light spectrum that is reflected by that plant... ]
I wish my grass were green. It's currently all dead and covered with snow.
Consider yourself lucky. :-P ]
1) because you live somewhere where it hasn't been snowed over just yet.
2) because green grass survived and reproduced better over the millennia than other colours in your region. ]
Because it is fertalized. ]
because the sky is blue and blue and green go well together. cool colors. ]
Because you live in a warm climate this time of year? ]
Have you not learned that in science! Sheesh! All colors are what they are because when the light reflects off of it, the sun shines every color of the rainbow exept the one on that object. For example the grass is green because the sun reflects every color exept green. And it has to do with chlorophyll in the plants.
-shay :-) ]
Chlorophyll reflects green light. That's why. ]
