Waiting for too long. Me and my best freind really like eacother alot. We have a history of 'relationships' in the past, but it was middle school, and I don't really count it...But anyways, back to the present. He was my date to homecoming (which was a month ago) and at the dance, he told me he still liked me. Well, i've always liked him, so i thought everything would be cool and work out. A week passes by and he says nothing. I confront him, and he tells me he wants to wait for his license. Well, he now has his license, and has for a week. But he still hasent done anything. He acts like he likes me, and I'm posotive he does, but i'm tired of waiting. Hes told all his friends (mostly girls, that ask him whats going on between us) that he was going to ask me out this week, but guess what? HE HASENT. What should I do? (And no, I dont want to be the one to ask him out) Thank you!

Okay, well, in this situation most people would probably play hard to get if they are that kind of person...but if he's not talking to you right now DON'T play hard to get because that could ruin your friendship.
You really don't have to ask him out. Just confront him or maybe even write him a letter. That's probably the easiest to do....especially if he's your best friend, he should understand.
Just let him know how you're feeling because that's the only way he'll probably understand. If you like him like a boyfriend then don't go out with anyone else right away if you're positive he likes you. If you start going out with another guy this could ruin it if he likes you and if he was going to act on that and ask you out. He probably feels intimidated because he probably knows that sometime soon you expect him to ask you out....so he may just want it to be perfect. Just have a little patience and let him approach you. ]
Go out with someone else or ask him. ]
Dude, ask him...it's not that hard. He's probably just shy. He wants you to ask first. ]
Go it yourself. That kinda stuff's hard for guys, especially with friends. Chatting up/asking out an almost stranger is much easier than a friend, as there's no fear of any great loss should things go awry. ]
Well, maybe he's just waiting for the right moment. Or it could be that he's shy, and he doesn't want to risk rejection. Either wait for him to ask you out, or ask him out yourself. ]
He might just be nervous. Eitehr give him more time or ask him yourself. ]
