take a blow dryer to it! and if that doesnt work i don't know what will! ]

Next time, instead of using toothpicks, use popsicle sticks. They are less likely to fall apart when you glue them and they won't blow apart if you use a hairdryer to speed the drying process. Also, avoid waiting until the last minute, that way if you have problems you can work around them.
Wipe some of the glue off the toothpicks, that way they will dry faster or try using super glue or a hot glue gun instead of Elmer's glue. ]
Ha ha, I had to do an egg drop project and it's do tomorrow and it's drying as well. Fun times in physics.
Don't use a hairdryer, because if your glue's not that far along, it could knock the toothpicks out of place. Don't bake it. Don't set it on fire. Don't throw it out a window.
Maybe blow on it till your face turns blue...? ]
Freeze it. If it's cold, won't it stay hard? Seeings how glue is liquid-y. ]
Put tape on it to hold it in place while the glue dries and then when its dry, remove it
We have a teacher workday tomorrow :) (10/21) ]
Ah, I remember making one of those... if you can't get the glue to dry, try clamping the toothpicks together with wire or twist ties until they'll stay on their own. Then when the glue is dry, you can unwrap the wire. ]
1) Don't use so much glue!
2) Take a hairdryer to it. I'm pretty sure that'll help.
3) Put it in the microwave. I'm not sure that'll help, but something interesting will happen I promise. ]
