That one's easy. Find a church that you feel best suits your needs: spiritually, socially, personally, etc. This might require some "experimentation," but you'll be happier for it. Just keep an open heart and an open mind, and you'll end up where you need to be.
Praying helps, too. ]
Pray thats all I can say ]
Are we talking church as in organised religion or church as in the physical structure?
If in the relgion, I would study the text pertaing to that religion and read what thy belive, what they do, how they do it, and ask yourself if you belive this as well.
If in terms of the phsyical structure, then look around for a church, thats not to far away that is of your denomination. Also sit in on a few of their services and see if you like the preatcher. Maybe ask if they have any clubs for younger mebers or the church. ]

First of all, think about what you're looking for in a church. If you want sermons with little music, find a church like that. If you're a music type find a church with music you like. There is no one church that is the best, in Hinduism all gods are equal. I carry that over to my Christian beliefs. You could ask friends what churches they go to and check out those for a few weeks. Make sure you enjoy the people, beliefs and over-all atmosphere before you commit yourself. ]
Go to lots of different churches ,different religions and denominations and see which one you like best.also talk to pagans etc and athiests. ]
My church is the bestest. If you do not attend my church, you shall be smote an all that good crap like that, so there! ]
The best idea is probably to visit a bunch of churches and find out which one is most comfortable to you. That can mean which message is right for you, how the people react, and the way the church is involved in the community. You can also call up most churches to ask questions about service times or what the church is all about, and sometimes you get a really good feel for the church over the phone. Also, consider praying about it. ]
You can't really just pick one, you have to just start going to all of them. Don't stop until you find the right one. I just looked in the phone book and found churches close to where I lived and called them to ask about service times. When I attended a service, I got to see what programs they offered for what groups (if you're a youth and there's no youth group, it's probably the wrong church), how many people attended, if the people even talked to me, core beliefs all that stuff. You have to go with what feels right, and that'll probably involve a few months of trial and error. ]
