when you get your period, and you drink something that's cold (like milk, or water) does the temperature have anything to do with the amount of blood coming out?
my friend said during school that she couldn't drink the school milk because she is having her period, and if you drink something cold, more blood comes out. so what if you drink something hot? will that make less blood come out?

I want to lose stomach fat

17/M Right now, I feel about 20lbs overweight. Everytime I look down all I see is a giant mass of stomach and I've been desperately trying to get rid of it. I've managed to get it down a tiny bit but I feel like all my efforts are going to waste. I dont have a car so I walk EVERWHERE, I eat enough to sustain my daily energy intake and I work out. Is there a certain way I should be exercizing or something else that I may not be doing? I drink milk quite a bit, could that be it? Please respond. Thank you.

Ipod Games

I was wondering...When I was using my limewire I noticed that you can download games like Sudoku. I know ipods can play games but I was wondering if you could download the game on limewire and put it on your ipod instead. If so where do I put it? Do I drag it to itunes?

Boyfriend?

Well, one of my guy friends who I actually did like confessed that he liked me. We decided to give going out a try. The thing is, he's more experienced (he's 17, I'm 16). I feel like I'm less experienced for my age, but now I don't know where things should go. He doesn't do much, sometimes we hug, but I'm afraid to do anything. And I don't know if we're technically boyfriend/girlfriend. I feel as if I should know all this, but I don't. What do you think is appropriate for the beggining stages of dating? And how can I be less nervous about it?

Cell Phone..?

Okay, before my boyfriend left back for base [he's a marine], he gave me his cell phone. Mine's a piece of shit, and we're both on cingular, so I just put my SIM chip into his old phone.
Now, like an idiot he lost the charger for it. It's a Motorola RAZR. I'm not sure what the little numbers are because like I said, he just handed me the phone. [He upgraded & got a new one, that's why he gave me his old one.] Now, since he lost the charger, I have to buy a new one. Does anyone know how much it'll cost? My mom said if it's super expensive, I can't have it. So then I'll be pissed because the phone will be a total waste. Thanks.

He's in the same group of friends as me, so we see each other quite often. He'll often sit next to me or stand near me, or follow me into a different room. He often looks at me from across the room and smiles at me, and when we're in a group laughing about something he'll make eye contact with me. He often seems to be listening to conversations I'm having with other people and sometimes joins in, or comments on something I've said. I'm too shy to say anything about liking him, and he's shy as well. Do you think he likes me as more than a friend? What other clues should I look for?

Shyness

HELP ME!!! I am very needy and extremly dependant on other people, and i get really nervous before presentations or sometiems even before school and i even get stomachaches all my life and they affect me in a bad way. I feel as if people dont think im good enough and I have low confidence in public and i feel like its holding me back. Is there any books i can read, or things i can do to gain confidence, and STOP caring what other people think?

Acne YuCK! F/15

ive got acne and its actaully getting better but i want it to clear up. Ive been using proactiv and it gets better all the time, but i was wondering if where you have the acne affects how you get it? Like if somebody has bangs thats usually why they have acne on theyre forhead, becuase it gets sweaty and so on. Well i have it like on my cheeks like collarbone i guess, could i do something to stop it and prevent further breakouts?

Rearrange and Redecorate!

My room was painted last summer. But, I have to admit that I'm not to fond of the color. And I also noticed my parents didn't put much effort into it at all - theres a small blotch of paint on the floor, and on the very top and bottom of the wall, you can see the color they painted over. And I also said I wanted a color like a light baby blue, but they gave me more a color like a dull robins egg which I'm not very happy about.
I want to ask my parents if I can redecorate my room. Can anyone give me color schemes and great places for crazy furniture? (Like chairs and stuff. I got new dressers recently which I just plan on adding accesories to it)
I want my room to be OFF THE WALL. I want it to be absolutly crazy...

SHORT VERSION: how do you make friends that you can hang with outside of school?
i need to make more friends that i can hang with outside of school..most of my friends are guys and i dont want them to think i like them, because i dont..and the girl im friends with in 3rd period shes really nice but when i asked her for her email to email her in 4th becuz she has that class right after me and its computers she got all shocked, but she seemed really surprised, but yet she was telling me how she has no more friends anymore and that all she hangs wtih is her boyfriend

i went out with this guy a few months ago and after we broke up we stayed friends. i mean we aren't as close as we once were but we are friends still. i still care about him (of course i do! i care about all of my friends) the thing is, he is going to formal with this girl who is a HUGE sl*t. no joke. there is only literally three girls in my grade that like her. my friend doesn't even know this girl (they met at a party and she was all over him) and thats the only time they have been together. she is known for hookig up and getting all over all these guys. i don't want my friend to get hurt but i dont know if i should tell him about this girl and her reputation. or maybe i should? please help me! i dont want him to get hurt!
