microsoft word

ok, my computer isn't very old, but not a really nice new one eaither. my computer didn't come with mirosoft word. and i really need it for school projects and stuff because all i have is word pad and that sucks. so, do i have to buy something from like, wal-mart or somewhere to get microsoft word. thanks a bunch!!!!<3

I recommend Microsoft Office 2007, but it is very expenisive. It can cost you anywhere from $200-$350. The Home and Student version is very good, I'm currently on a free trial (60 days.) However, I couldn't afford to fork out that much money on computer software. And if you're like me, I definitely recommend a subsititute. Such as Star Office. It's a very good word document, works just about as well as Microsoft Office or Microsoft Word.

i recommend you find freeware or opensource software. openoffice is one of the best stand ins for MSword.

no computer actually COMES with microsft word. but if you have another computer in the house that has it, u probably already bought the software, and you can then download it onto your new computer.but if you don't then u have to buy new software, and it cost like 400 dollars.

MS word is very expensive, about $200. openoffice is nearly identicle, and can save files in the MS word file format:
