microsoft word ok, my computer isn't very old, but not a really nice new one eaither. my computer didn't come with mirosoft word. and i really need it for school projects and stuff because all i have is word pad and that sucks. so, do i have to buy something from like, wal-mart or somewhere to get microsoft word. thanks a bunch!!!!<3

I recommend Microsoft Office 2007, but it is very expenisive. It can cost you anywhere from $200-$350. The Home and Student version is very good, I'm currently on a free trial (60 days.) However, I couldn't afford to fork out that much money on computer software. And if you're like me, I definitely recommend a subsititute. Such as Star Office. It's a very good word document, works just about as well as Microsoft Office or Microsoft Word.

i recommend you find freeware or opensource software. openoffice is one of the best stand ins for MSword. ]
no computer actually COMES with microsft word. but if you have another computer in the house that has it, u probably already bought the software, and you can then download it onto your new computer.but if you don't then u have to buy new software, and it cost like 400 dollars. ]
MS word is very expensive, about $200. openoffice is nearly identicle, and can save files in the MS word file format:
