i have a wound and I don't know what's going on

so I just hurt my knee a few days ago (like a week ago) and i just don't know what's going on with it.

the day after i hurt it, its just red.
today, its darker and the skin is beginning to peel and its a bit itchy.
i'm not sure what to do right now. when i shower i use a band-aid, should i just wash it without bandaid?(i tried but it hurt a lot)

Okay, so, this past month my one best friend, he started liking this girl he met on myspace and facebook. She lives really close and whatever, so it's not like it'd be an online relationship if they'd date.
She had really strong feelings for him and he really likes her. She'd tell all her friends how cute he was, and how special he was, and whatever. And then she went to a party, and started talking to one of her guy friends who has a crush on her. She told my friend she kind of likes the other guy more now. They eventually met then.

I'm in a pretty sticky situation. Over the summer I hooked up with a boy and we began casually dating. Initially I viewed him as a little bit of a sketchy character due to some activities he indulged in, but as time passed we began to find that we had more and more in common. I moved to college last August in a city a little over 3 hours away from home, and I thought that we were over.
He came and visited me several times, and we became very, very close. We became official once again, and I found that I really cared about him. scar removal

ok so i have a lot of scars on my legs and some on my arms.but they are old and have now healed.but there are still the scar marks that show on my skin and it looks bad.and i do have one new scar that is still in the healing process.
what non expensive healing cream or something can i buy at a local store that will get rid of old scars and new scars?

How do I pick out a Thanksgiving turkey?

So, I'm making Thanksgiving dinner this year for my family. I've already asked about how to make a delicious Turkey for Thanksgiving, but I left out a very key question.
When purchasing a Thanksgiving turkey, what should I look for? I will be feeding my whole family (5 people total but they eat A WHOLE LOT) so I am now rethinking the size of the turkey I thought would be best. I am also unsure of which brand is best, and if the cheapest is actually the best bargain or not. I'm also curious if all Thanksgiving turkeys come frozen or if some of them are fresher than others. There are also some with pop up thermometers to let me know when the turkey is done cooking, but I'm not entirely sure if they are worth the purchase o...

Stubborn Blackheads?

I have really stubborn black heads. And they're mostly on my nose. Some are in the corner of my nose where it is hard to reach. Well I can't seem to like get the stuff out by squizing[sp?] so I was wondering if any one knows how else to get rid of these.

They do sell books for certian bands filled with guitar tabs or chords right? ive been searching the internet i want to get my sister one for christmas. How can I learn how to knit?

I am pretty interested in learning how to knit. My mother has never been a knitter and I don't know of anyone who knits that is close to me so I do not have anyone to ask for instructions.
Some people have told me that knitting is hard, while others say that once I get the hang of knitting that it will be fairly easy. I heard that if I do not have a person to teach me how to knit then I'm hopeless.
I really want to know how to knit a blanket.
I also think it would be interesting to learn how to knit a scarf (or, rather, how to knit scarves).
Is there a way I can learn how to knit by myself? Any online helpful learning to knit instructions, a book (or books) I can purchase, or even instr...

payday loans

I used to use payday loans because an ex got me in debt. I have 600 dollars worth of court fines that need to be paid by the end of jan. Instead of waitin last minute til tax time and possibly get in trouble for not paying them would it be an ok idea to use payday loans to pay off the fines then with tax money pay the payday loans off?

So here's the situation I have been friends with this guy for a few months now and ever since we first met it was clear we both like each other and like we kissed before and tried dating but it just didn't really work out. Now we're just friends and its working really well except there's still like tension between us because its clear we still like each other. I was thinking we could be like friends with benefits and stay just friends but then like if we get the urge to kiss each other or fool around thats fine and theres no commitments and no expectations which was the problem before. I don't really know if this will work out though and I'm afraid of telling him my idea and how he might react to it....

Okay so I'm definately a poor college student, so how can i make mooney fast?
I know about donating blood plasma, and that is in the works,but i need more than that. and i know about selling like "gently used clothes" at those kinds of stores, but what else can I do, and i also know that I can get and extra holiday job, but seriously all this isn't adding up. And those online things are just riduculous because it requires you to dish out just a bit of money first. so does anybody have any ideas?. it would be greatly appreciated.

my IT band hurts from cheer practice..

im in cheerleading, and a few weeks ago after tumbling practice, i started to feel this pain in the outside of my thigh.. like i think its called the I.T. band? anyways, it feels like i pulled it, but usually when i pull muscles they dont hurt this bad, and go away. its been hurting for about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks now. like when i go to do the splits or straddle stretch, with both legs spread out, it hurts to go to the middle and it feels really tight there, and then i can touch my nose to my knee on the other leg, but when i go to that side i cant go all the way down. it sucks because since i cant stretch it very well, i am more likely to pull even more muscles! could this be it band syndrome or what? i will get it checked if it continues to hurt. thanks!

this is my situation,
im 16 years old, 4 weeks pregnant i know i have options and i have been thinking about them a lot.
adoption is just out of the question if i did that then one of my family members would adopt my child and i wouldn't be able to deal with that. So im not putting my child up for adoption.
i have always told myself that i was against abortion not just because i think of it as killing a baby but because it can cause physical and emotional harm to you also.
if i kept the baby i know i would have sooo many people behind me my mom has 4 sisters and all of them including her had there first baby at 17 so i know they would understand i know they would all help me, b...
