my period

ok i am 20 female. I have had my period for almost 6 years now. but recently i have been having my period only every three months and it lasts for almost two weeks at a time. im not sexually active so i know its not i dont have it cuz i am pregnant and miscarry or whatever. could it have something to do with me being overweght? is it going to cause problems to where i can't have kids?

My dentist told me i have it, and i brush my teeth day+night. also, i have braces and im getting them off soon so what are ways i can get rid of the puffiness in my gums.

cardboard

My mom got me one of those big boxes of the cardboard applicator tampons and i'm having trouble putting them in because it hurts. I'm used to using the plastic kind. I don't want to go make her get plastic so any tips to using the cardboard kind? I want to know how to put both the plastic and the cardboard in.

HUGE PIMPLE PROBLEM!!

I have this huge pimple on the side of my nose, but its like not a normal pimple its like unfer my skin and doesent have like a "head" or anything. It's been there for a REALLY long time and just isn't gonig away! It's SOO embarresing, how can i get rid of it!? Thanks.

I have Social Anxiety Disorder, look it up if your not fond of that. I've been actually recently getting it. have you? it makes me feel like im not alone on this, that's why i asked the question. What are some ways you tried relaxing and it worked?

i hate my weight so much! im 13/f like around 135 pounds or something im seirously annoyed i can never make a commitiment and i hate it ! i seirously do whenever i freaken go out to the stores it takes me a while! to buy something because of my size and its so embarassing
as for skool they have a store there which i see people eating food chips and really good stuff and i seriously dont knw what to do my mom wouold make me lunch but i get so hungry at skool and dont know what to do.. i have a treatmille at home so i could work out on that, my sisters are all skinny wit nice bodies and thyve been really trying to help me and my mom aswell they dont want me to miss out on stuff.. im seriously anoyed can somone help me please do you t...

height of 13-year-olds

I've seen a lot of people on here asking questions who are like 13 and 5"9 and 14 and like 5"8. Well, I'm 5"4, and I know I'm going to be tall when I grow up, like 5"9 or so. So anyway, like no one I know looks like they're done growing at 5"10 or whatever. Is it normal for me not to be done growing and for others to be? Isn't it sort of early for people to be done growing at 5"10 when you're only like 13 or 14?

Thin Hair

I have thin hair, and I absoutely hate it. My hair always like splits itself and I don't have thick hair around my hairline so it looks weird. I just really want thicker hair. I got these intense braids in Florida in 4th grade, and they totally killed my hair, leaving it thin since then. I already eat healthy and exercise, but is there anything I can use like special shampoos to help my hair be thicker. I hate having thin hair, it really annoys and saddens me because it's so thin. I just want to have normal hair. :( Help please!

Friend has Poor Health

A friend of mine, R, has very poor health. She does not sweat, is very thin, and her hair does not have the normal luster. She eats as far as I can see, but wears a size 0 despite her medium-sized frame. She almost never comes to school for the full week, missing so much. She gets mono, the flu, and frequently stays home for things like a sore neck or fatigue. I asked her if she gets shots and she said no. (Apparently because her mother has gotten the flu a week after the immunization.) Her mother lets her stay home for any number of reasons despite her abscence during long-term sicknesses. (She confided in me that her mother was on marijuana.) We come from a small, docile town with farms and "Village Centers" so it's not like we'...

kissing a smoker?

what happens if you kiss a smoker? i don't know if it's bad or not, but i was just wondering if it's bad..or..can you like get sick? get something from that person? if he/she smokes ALL the time? for a few years?
(im not doing that, i just thought it was gross, and you can probly get sick?)

Why does my skin scar so easily?

Over the past few months I've been noticing an increase in scars...
I've always scarred easily but it was usually just on my legs. I scar from every little thing - bug bites, and any kind of scrape. It sucks, but I'm use to my legs looking like it was hit by shrapnel. I know it will fade in time.
But the thing is, lately I've been getting scars on my face and my hands too. Every pimple I get lingers into a scar...I don't get pimples that often so I'm not horribly concerned - but its my face! Not only that but I have to use an oven mitt to play with my kitten or the little tiny scratches it makes turn into scars! Its ridiculous.
My skin isn't dry, or anything like that. This doesn't make sense. I'...

swalloed "black flag" and ant killer

my friend just drank from a water bottle that we had sprayed " black flag" which is a spider ant and roach killer...she didnt know we had out it in there....will she get sick???

belly button ring

ive had my belly button pierced Jan. of this year. (my mom knows.) I think it's infected.
its got red bubble like thing on the top part of the hole. The skin where the holes are is like always white skin (im guessing its like dead skin) but its almost always there and i normally rip it off.
is there a way to get it un-infected? any thing that actually works?

I've been sick for a while...

For the past four or five months, I've been sick. Throwing up, diarreha[sp?], passing out, dizziness, lack of appetite, dramatic weight loss [5-10 lbs in ONE week], signs of fever, and bad chest pains. I've been to the doctor alreay about this but they can never seem to find out whats wrong. I go for about a week or two feeling fine but then it starts again. Also, I found a lump on my 'area' that is sore and seems to keep getting bigger along with several tiny ones around it. I haven't been able to go to the doctor for that yet but I do have an appoitment to get it checked out sometime this month.
I'm getting tired of being sick all the time. I barely have energy anymore. Its like all of it has been sucked away from me. ...

im 15/m and i have to go to the dentist tomarow night and i need to know if they are allowed to tell my parents that i dip aka chew tabacco. someone said that there was a privacy law but i need to know for sure asap because if there isnt i am not going to the dentist tomarow

Period Question

I got my period today (Wednesday) and I have a cross country meet @ Brown University on Saturday. The problem is we have a long drive to get up there (5 hours) and I get horrible cramps sometimes. Its an overnighter to top it all off and I dont feel comtrable having my period and sharing a bed. Ive had my period for about 4 years now so its not like its a super out of control flow or anything. I tried tampons and they just dont feel comtrable. I dont know what to do! This makes me not want to go so bad and it sucks. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do? I know that is such a dumb question but I am DESPERATE. Please Help!
