I can't seem to stop comparing myself to my boyfriend's ex-girlfriends and old "crushes." I know he loves me, but I just can't seem to stop thinking, "She's thinner than me," or "Wow, she's so much prettier than I am," and "She's so funny, do I make him laugh as much as she does?" The irritating thing is a lot of them are still his friends, and he sees them when he's away at college. He's completely against cheating, but I still worry that something will spark between him and one of his exes and he'll leave me.
Incase it matters, I'm 19 and female.

Here's the story: I met this amazing guy a couple months ago. We hung out one day and started going out. We tried a relationship for a while but things didn't work out and he said he wanted to be just friends. We turned to be friends with benefits but only made out and thats all i allowed. well i ended up falling in love with him. i wanted so much to be with him. A few years ago i went away to a ball camp held by a local college, that had the players as the actual camp counselors.
To this day she still plays ball, but she is a senior now, and they only have about 4 home games left. I email her sometimes, and i meet up with her after the games to just catch up, but its not that often.

Well, one of my guy friends who I actually did like confessed that he liked me. We decided to give going out a try. The thing is, he's more experienced (he's 17, I'm 16). I feel like I'm less experienced for my age, but now I don't know where things should go. He doesn't do much, sometimes we hug, but I'm afraid to do anything. And I don't know if we're technically boyfriend/girlfriend. I feel as if I should know all this, but I don't. What do you think is appropriate for the beggining stages of dating? And how can I be less nervous about it?

He's in the same group of friends as me, so we see each other quite often. He'll often sit next to me or stand near me, or follow me into a different room. He often looks at me from across the room and smiles at me, and when we're in a group laughing about something he'll make eye contact with me. He often seems to be listening to conversations I'm having with other people and sometimes joins in, or comments on something I've said. I'm too shy to say anything about liking him, and he's shy as well. Do you think he likes me as more than a friend? What other clues should I look for?

okay. i'll apologize that this may be long..
i have a wonderful boyfriend. we've been together 10 months. for being freshman, we're doing pretty good. we've only gone as far as fingering/handjob, & hes not a pushy guy at all. the only thing is that he gets really jealous. and i "flirt" a lot. especially with one boy in particular named john. well, john and me are good friends. and john likes me but i've made it clear that i love my boyfriend, and he understands but still says he likes me.

I went out with this boy like a year ago.. we started going out June of 2005 and Broke up Around February of 2006. So we were together for awhile. We loved each other deeply. alright so theres this guy that i kinda have a thing for. there are some signs he gives me that says he might like me too, but theres also signs that say he doesnt.

okay, my boyfriend is in JROTC, and he invited me to the military ball, but i'm not really comfy wearing like the dressydresses you have to wear to go to those, im VERY modest, and also, hes shorter than me, so i wouldnt be able to wear heels, what should i wear? any ideas? i cant tell him i dont want to go because i dont want to dress up because he's really excited that i'm going and i couldnt do that to him. i need HELPPPPPPPP!

i live in chile. just moved here and i start school feb. 17. i had something with a boy in my old school in costa rica but we havent really talked about it since. and when i do try to talk about it he avoids it. so we werent going out or anything but we sort of had something. im getting over him but i really want someone for valentine's day. it would be perfect if i started school earlier but i cant. what can i do? im not asking for you guys to find someone or anything like that. just i want to know what can i do to get over WANTING to be with someone. what should i do?
