hey. yeah, i'm an insomniac. as long as i can remember i haven't ever been able to fall asleep is less that like 3 hours. so i basically go to bed at 3 and wake up at 6.30 (school days). i don't take medicine for it but i need to! i want to sleep and my mom has sonata (i guess she also has insomnia) and i want to take one. she'd never notice and i dont think she'd really care. should i take one? i mean what bad will it do? also, does anyone else take sleeping pills or have insomnia? thanx

eternity answered Sunday January 2 2005, 11:45 am: Yes, I think that your problem is very bad. Your mom not caring is very unfortunate indeed. So, you should ask your mom if she will buy you some over-the-counter sleeping pills. If it doesn't have any effect, consult a doctor. ~Jordan Wang~ [ eternity's advice column | Ask eternity A Question ]
aNgeLxfOrEvEr answered Sunday January 2 2005, 11:40 am: Don't take your mom's medicine without going to the doctor. You should definately ask your mom to take you to the doctor to get your OWN medicine. It's just safer that way =) [ aNgeLxfOrEvEr's advice column | Ask aNgeLxfOrEvEr A Question ]
monkeygirl answered Sunday January 2 2005, 4:04 am: Yes I have the same problem where I cannot sleep and wake up all the time, I went to a doctor for it and I now take serquel.... You also have to learn the side effects before you take this medicine... always learn the side effects first. I stopped taking it for a while and actually sleep to much now..... You shouldn't take one of your mom's pills talk to her about it and go to a doctor and get your own...... You don't know what your mom's pills can do to you.. please don't take one! FernGully answered Sunday January 2 2005, 3:38 am: Do not take pills that aren't prescribed for you. You have no idea what the side effects will be. Sleeping pills are not healthy for the most part and can do a number on you, so don't even go near your mother's. If you really think you need to, tell your mom you need to go to the doctor and have yourself a chat with a professional. They might be able to give you some remedies besides pills or they might prescribe something for you that is actually meant for you. [ FernGully's advice column | Ask FernGully A Question ]
