hazel051 answered Thursday October 16 2003, 7:08 pm: I don't recommend Mentos because they have a high sugar content but try to get some trident or some dental gum that you can chew on. At my school, I dont have any time to brush after lunch so I chew on a stick of trident and that helps me until I get home. [ hazel051's advice column | Ask hazel051 A Question ]

chocolatenutbar answered Sunday October 12 2003, 5:00 pm: Considering the amount of sugar in Mentos, I wouldn't suggest it. You might consider visiting your local grocery store to buy some more toothpaste. And if it's closed, use mouthwash. [ chocolatenutbar's advice column | Ask chocolatenutbar A Question ]
spacefem answered Sunday October 12 2003, 10:04 am: Mentos are tasty, but I wouldn't encourage them if dental hygiene is your goal. They're too sugary and could rot your teeth. I understand, however, that with the rising costs of toothpaste these days, if can be hard to keep up. When I've got that not-so-fresh feeling, I like to smear some Velveeta on my toothbrush. There are several reasons for this, but the biggest one is just that I love cheese! I think if you try this, your teeth will be shiny and manageable just like mine.
