Who says you need more close friends? I am going through the same thing. I have 2 close friends.. and I see other people have a lot of close friends. It just depends on who you are. And it basically means your unique and your not like every other person walking by. You should be happy with your friends!

You said best friend? I don't think a true friend would act like that. Talk to her about it, and have a real deep conversation because you need to let her know you don't like the way she is treating you. If things dont change then realise theres better people out there. You don't have to completely stop being her friend, but seeing her less would help, if things dont work out.

well it all started back in well like april. i met my best friend's cousin and i had a crush on him. but the summer before that he was forced to move out of state to live with his dad. so i mean i liked him but i didnt see anything coming out of it. then that july he came back for the summer. and on my best friend's birthday me her and him went bowling. that was fun but to the bathroom and they set me up! when i came back he "got up to go get a drink" and she told me that he liked me and wanted to know if i liked him... so i was like heck yah i do! well since we were having so much fun we all spend the night at my friend's house (her, him and me) and she went to bed at like 2 AM and me and him stayed up late and well we started kissing and stuff and all we did was kiss but i really liked him and the next week he had to leave for his dads and the summer was over. we talked on the phone for a while back and forth but becuz he hates it down there he makes himself really busy so that he never has to be at the house. but before he left on the day he was leaving i took this rubber band of his hand and was popping him with it. when he was leaving i tried to give it back to him but he told me to keep it. so i did and then later when we talked on the phone we made a bet. that i could/couldnt keep up with it until he came back for christmas. and me being me said "i need a bf" and he siad "well if/when i get to move back there you'll have one" i was like yay! but the thing is i am not good with waiting. so i have a bf now and all that. and i love my bf and wouldnt dump him for her cousin. so when he comes back for christmas (in about 2 weeks) what do i do???? do i give him that rubber band back? (yes i still have it) can me and him be friends without the akwardness? i want to be friends do you think he will? i am in love with my bf but i still have a thing for this other guy. i will not let myself lose my bf. but well advice please!
It sounds like you and the first guy really hit it off. I'm sure the whole thing will be fine, you just have to think positive. You definatly shouldn't leave your current boyfriend because of him. Besides, the cousin lives far away from you and long term relationships just dont work. If you love your boyfriend, then thats all there is to it. You can tell the guy thats visiting, you still want to keep the rubberband to remember the friendship. Or if you dont want it, then go ahead and give it to him and tell him to remember the friendship. He should understand.

If she is your friend, lets hope she wont let that happen. Talk with your boyfriend, make sure he is happy with the relationship. I'm sure he is happy, but if not then you don't need him anyways. I was reading a bit on dumping in a book called "the teen survivle guide for guys" and it said that if you dump a girl then beg to get back in the relationship, she will hate your guts and it will be nearly impossible to get back in the relationship. I am asking if there is any safe way to brake up. Like telling her we should be just friends for a while.
There really is never a safe way to break up. I know, it sux! The best thing you can do is just tell your partner your true feelings.. unless of course they would hurt too bad. Don't tell her how she is being a bad girlfriend and shes doing everything wrong. Make some things lean on you, and mention that she would realise after the break up , both your lives would be easier and funner. Hopefully this will work with the situation.
