Can anyone recommend a hair straightener that works well and is also reasonably priced? I know CHI is a good company but i can't afford to spend $150 on a hair straightener.

taregt has some good ones for 30 bucks?, but i suggest you invest into a good straightner and not buy a lot of cheap ones, because ones usually under a 100 dont work good anywya so you would wste that 40 dollars instead of investing it into something good that will last you a lot of years, i suggest sally hanson supplies, those are probably the best

well you can hide a folder but you would have to remember where it is.
or you can just put it in like a bunch of random files where no one ever looks and name it like a weird computer name so no one will look in it
but to hide a folder
you have to go create one and then right click on it and select sharing and security then go to general and select hidden then apply changed to this folder only and it should disapear to access it you would have to type its name in the adress above for exmple
it would say
C:\Documents and Settings\Home\My Documents\TYPE FOLDER NAME HERE
then press enter and it should take you to that folder.

i met this guy a while back and we kinda fell for eachother. well, recently, he was calling me like crazy and leaving me sweet voice mail messages and texting me during class. he would come see me between classes and such. however, a couple of days ago, he asked me if i really liked him. and i said "of course i do. i woulndnt have been jacking up my cell bill if i didnt." and i told him that i loved him and he said "i love you too". yesterday, he told me that he doesnt think a relationship is a good idea right now with his grades and such. he hasnt called me since. hes been avoiding me at school (which has been easy for him seeing as i dont go out of my way to see him, he always went out of his way to see me.) and today is my sweet 16 and he knew about it. i got my braces off yesterday and when i got to school this morning, me and my best friend were walking towards him and he turned around and walked the other way. what do i do? hes been avoiding me lately and it kills me. i really like him, but if i have to, ill let him go. why is he doing this? what do i say or do?

just tell him its ok he doenst want one. and just be friends. but you should confront him even though its hard. but let him know that you are ok with it/

guys like girls who wear clothes that compliment their body and look good on them.
ones that are well fitting.
they dont like girls who always wear sweatshirts that are dark and dirty shirts that are too small or too big or ones that just look plain weird.
guys think its cute when girls look really neat and put together. like real clean appearance.
that means feeling comfortable too.
try wearing jeans that fit you very well i say abercrombie brand is very good becasuse it dont rip like hollister and it pretty much sustains shape.

i use the dove kind and it works just great but make sure you use ur shade dont buy the darker one just because u think it will make you more tanner it will just give you a fake looking tan.
use the one thats for you skin tone and it will look more natural =)

hmm good question.
i would have to say definetly personality and that comes with popularity i mean if he has a good personality then everyone should like him? right
but the most important one for me is outgoing.
everyone loves outgoing guys who make you feel like a million bucks and always make the first move.
also the way he dresses of course
but it goes for who ur trying to impress.
anything that looks good is good. i like preppy but not too preppy cause sometimes it looks gay on guys if they over do it.
also its always a plus if hes welll built and tall and is good at the sport he plays. that would be like an ultimate but it doesnt really matter that much.

well first of all tina. that is some wrong adivce.
you should never EVEr tell a suicidal person to commit suicide already it will only show them that one one cares and make them do it even more. then you will blame yourself for it.
i think you should just never pick up the phone and seem to like talk to other people more, but dont ignore her you should still be nice to her, because i guess she sees you as the one person she can trust and maybe ur the only one who understands shes going though. she says your her best friend for a reason. you must of done something to earn her trust like that. you can always intoduce her to other people.. but the best thing to do is just stop talking slowly and she should leave you alone...

and if you go to abercrombie and buy like their 16 or 14 they are the same as 00
also rememeber that hollisters and abercrombies jeans stretch out. so buy a size smaller. then they will stretch into ur size. so even though you cnat even fit into them at all whatso ever still buy them cuz they strecth out more and more the more you wear them. and ae jeans get smaller the more you wear them so just buy the normal size. =) hope i helped

I heard this poem at a forensics competition but of course, me being ignorant and all...I missed the title and the author of it. But I absolutly loved it and basically memorize it myself
A special needs kid is the speaker of the entire thing and describes how she is also human and just one "hi" is enough to make her feel happy. And how she hates when people try to feel sorry for her or give her disgusted looks because she's is mentally retarded.

Hi I am planning to bake this Red velvet cake with frosting for my friend's Valentines day party...
but today, sunday night, is the only time i will have time to bake it and decorate it because I will be away from my house on monday night due to some work, and I will have to attend my friend's dinner to meet my friend's parent on tuesday night... then I will directly have to go to school on wednesday and to her house, so I won't have any time...
So if I baked it tonight and store it in refrigerator, will it last till Wednesday?
I was thinking it will, but many people seem to doubt me and told me its best for me to bake it on tuesday night, apparently they dont get the concept of that i possibly can not have time for it any other night than tonight..

ok soo heres what going on. my and my bestfriend (that i have been friends with for 3 years now) are trying to become friends again. after she kissed my boyfriend and slept over his house while i was going out with him at the time. he broke up with me last last monday and went out with my bestfriend!! and they both never even told me and i aksed her 3 times and she dennied it all 3 times!!! and then i found out and she was like lahh i`m sooo sorry and she tried to turn it all around on me but it didn't work! and she would talk shit behind my back and just yesterday she messaged me on myspace and was like ahh i really wanna be friends again blah blah blah ( a huge paragraph) and i was like idon't know i don't really trust you and you talked shit about me and now its like we never even met. i miss her sooooo mucha dn she misses me more then ever! and i just don't know what to do! it was the most bitchiest thing someone has even done to me!! really i wanted to die! and it wasn't just that i had a lot of other shit going on too! sooo should i be her friend again? hmm this might sound totaly like woah what is she talking about.
but sometimes you have to forgive and forget. maybe give her another chance? people do stupid things for love. maybe she was lonely and was jealous of your relationship with your boyfriend and somehow managed to steal him. guys are stupid and they get suduced easily. and the guy maybe tempted her? shows how much he really cared about you. but then think about this. was this guy really right for you? or would he be better with your best friend?
its still really low and pathetic of her to do this. but think of this this way. was she the one who told you that they kissed or he slpet at her house? or was it someone else? because it might not be true. ppl change things around to make it seem more dramatic.
and a guy isnt really worth losing a friendship over. so tell her you are willing to forgive her but she has to make it up to you. and if anything happens like that again its over for real. sometimes ppl realize thier mistakes and need a second chance.
all you can do is listen to your heart and see what happens. if you really miss her it will be hard for you to hate her.
also if she denied it she knew it was wrong and didnt wnat you to get heart because of something that happened at the heat of the moment.if she denied it that means she wasnt proud of it and prolly this relationship with this boyfrined wont last long as soon as her guilt kicks in. so dont worry you will get even once she starts hating herslef for what she did to you.

This guy liked me at the beginning of the year of last year. I didn't like him cause I just then knew him. Well we hung out 24/7 we was like best friends, then I started likein him during christmas break he liked me to, but we never did go back out but we kept talking then during 4th nine weeks of school we never got along we hated each other just about it I quit talkin to him for like 3 weeks because he was being a jerk to me then we started to talk again and I still liked him he liked me and we didn't date.. we quit talkin during the summer and quit talkin now since school has been going this year we talk alittle everynow and then he don't like me now and I actually think I'm in love with this boy..he told my good friend that one of the reasons he won't date me is because he liked me at the begining of last year and I would never give him a chance.. but he is thinking about going out with me but I don't think I have a good chance.He also asked my other good friend if I still liked him. i think you should wait if anyhting happenes!! if you are in love with him ( as you say) then why being miserable if you knew you could make something happen! i say go for it! and flirt with him, ask you friends to ask him if he still likes you. and if he doenst then dont worry about it he will come back when he realizes what a great catch you are since he did before =) hope everything works out!

yeah defff talk to her more, if she smiles or talks back she might be interested and freshman do like older guys so most likely she will go out with you if she finds you attractive. try asking some of your firnds that are girls to become friends with her and see if she has a boyfriend and what shes into.

ok so i had glasses for 3 years now and i REALLY want to get contacts. i went to the eye person and then he tried to put the contact in my eye but i didnt let him. this was a while ago. people tell me it takes hours for them to put them in.
idk if i still want them cause i hate that feeling of putting them in your eye and idk if its worth it.

um i think you should at least try, practice putting somethign in your eyes with water drops, and since you really want to lose the glasses do it! but dont abandon those glasses for ever, just put the contacts in for school and wear ur glasses on the weekends or whatever you wnat, also dont forget to take them out at night! and you could also save up money, a lot of money and get treatment.

hey im 15/f. You know the girls in the tv commericals for say eyeshadow. I love how some of them have glitter eyes and makes them look soo pretty. Is there any cheap eyeshadow glitter that i could use? How exactly would u apply it. Im not sure if eye color matters but i have brown eyes, and light brown hair. um you should try cream musse eyeshadow by maybelline new york, and buy a purpuly one because it inhances every eye color, or you could also look for body glitter and apply it just like eye shadow, or just find anything that spaekels and be creative by just mixing it with a musse eyeshadow and giving it more sparkle
