I just moved into a new house and my room is light pink and green. I am not into that at all, not one bit. But my parents won't let me paint over it. I'm not gothic; but my favourite color is black, i wear black all the time, i'm into heavy metal, my favorite band is Lamb of God and Insane Clown Posse. I like stars and hearts. I would probably be more into the colours if they were alot darker, but i can't paint! I asked if i could get a black stripe near the top but our painters' hand isnt steady enough, but I can paint some black into it, but where? Not the whole thing so what can i do? What can i do that will make my room alot less girly and young? Please help! I hate these light baby colors! (link)

the posters Idea is really good, also I saw on trading spaces once that you can staple fabric to the walls, you could cover the whole wall or just a part, and you could use black, where as black paint and wallpaper is frowned upon.... Good luck, I hope you can come up with something you like

I'm about as butch as the next girl. I don't shave anything, I hate make up, I have a mean left hook, I don't take any crap on the street. My husband is a sweetheart, I found a rare gem in him, but his bull dyke best friend hates me. I have tried EVERYTHING to befriend her. I have tried ignoring her, I don't know what else to do. She HATES me. She tells total strangers what a seething bitch I am (well, I am) and she has tried to break us up many times. She has even threatened me with physical violence. I don't tell him who to be friends with or not, but she just won't let up. It's making him take a 2nd look at his friendship with her, and I'm afraid he's going to leave her behind. What can I do? I think she may be jealous of me. Does she want him, or me, or both of us. She has a history of sleeping with his other girlfriends, but I'm not bi. I'm letting him sort this one out for himself, but I feel kinda bad about it.

Is it possible to become pregnant through oral sex (female giving to male) ? I was wondering since if you ingest semen isn't it possible for it to work through your body?
Also, is it possible to become pregnant if a couple is merely kissing or say fooling around and the male ejaculates into the vaginal area? They are not naked, boxers and shorts on the male and underwear on the female.

through oral sex not there is not chance, I believe, although I think it's horribly slim, there may be a chance if he ejaculates into the vaginal area because the area is warm causing sperm to stay alive, but I'm not sure, contact a counceller from your local health unit to know for sure, you could phone and stay annonoymous. turn off all distractions, radio, tv, phone. Just pace yourself, reward yourself for a certin amount of time, like after you study uninterupped for half and hour you can stop and get a snack or something like that. Good luck

One of my so-called friends decided that she wanted to make stuff up about me, I guess to start a fight, but it's pretty sad that she has to make something up instead of saying osmething true that's bad, and it's pretty sad that she had that much trouble finding something bad that she made something up. Question is, do I confront her about it or not, because I heard it on the grapevine. I don't know if I should tell her to her face how pathetic it is that she has to make up something because she can't find anything, or if I should just leave her to think that she has gotten away with it completely. The minute you say anything nasty to her you are sinking to her level, keep yourself higher then her and just ignore it, she might think she got away with it but you know the truth, and you have the satifaction of knowing you were the mature one. Remember that you heard it through the grapevine, so it could be someone spreading rumors about her, if you confront her in the wrong way and she didn't do it then you will lose a friend. If you really want her to know you know, maybe drop some hints here and there like "I heard that someone is spreading rumors about me, have you heard anything? or do you know who's doing it?" It will make her squirm and will give her the message that you know

put pictures of dogs around your room for motivation, get rid of any clutter you don't need (if you haven't used something for the last 4 months or so, you could probably get rid of it and not miss it. If you have no shelves, get some, using boxes for storage and piling them neatly in your closet would help. Good luck

OK so here's what happened this weekend...
Friday; after work Jon came up to me and told me (with beautiful eloquence) that he fancied me.
Saturday; I went to meet him after work to talk to him.I was sufficiently confused that he guilt-tripped me into saying that I liked him back and getting his mobile no. etc.
Sunday; he asked me to meet him and we spent a couple of hours in town talking.
Monday;he asked me to meet him (again) and I said I had to much work to do.
Today; I will be seeing him and would like YOUR advice as to how to let him down.
He is a very sweet person but I don't like him enough to want to go out with him especially with the complication of working together.

you did the right thing not seeing him again, he was getting to much false hope. Just tell him the truth, let him know he has lots of qualities you appreciate in a friend but that that is all you are interested in. Be truthful, he deserves that, as we all do. good luck

Be yourself. You don't have to fit yourself into the box of "punk" or any of the other labels, if the punk style is what you like then do it, addapt it and make it your own. Don't worry about what other people think, I did that my whole life then woke up one morning realizing I has wasted 25 years not really living. Your all you have in this world, don't let you down (as corny as that sounds)

Hey, I fainted twice tody and went to the doctors twice, all in one day. . I want to know whats wrong with me! I have a rash,a dn my mom put stuff on it then all of a sudden i get dizzy and everything would be so blurry and then it would get dark, and the next thing you know i wa sin my moms arms. . Then I fainted again just abotu a half hour after I visited the doctors. . But my mom had put on this ointment iwas sappose to have for my rash. . then all of a sudden I got dizzy, and I saw blurrieness and darkness came and I was on the floor. .My momw as really scared. . is this my rash's fault?? Girls always fall for guys they are good friends with, we have a hard time finding the line between friendship and crushes, don't worry about that. Weigh the realationship, are you willing to risk the friendship for the chance of something more? If you are then you should talk to him, if not then just be happy that you have such a great friend.
If you are really close to him then talk to him about your fears. Is he doing drugs? It is quite easy to hang out with those people and not be into what they are. Be careful how you approch it though, he could get defensive if he is, just let him know you care and are concerned, even if he does get defensive remember, you only get that way if you know you are wrong. i've been best friends with my friend since kindergarden, in first grade she moved away, but we've still been best friends since. she has two other close friends who go to my school and i can tell they're a little jealous of us being best friends. Lately my best friend (let's call her Ella) has been hanging out with her other friend (let's call her Tina) because they're in the same hebrew school. now she always talks about tina! a couple of times i've given Ella one of those best friend necklaces, but she nver wore it, recently Tina gave her a best friend necklace and she wears it all the time, though Tina never wears hers. Tina also talks about Ella behind her back, which i've never done (except now). I don't want my best friend to be hurt. How can i tell her about Tina?
i also have another problem with Ella... i've recently joined marching band and it's loads of fun. when i try to tell her about band camp and stuff, she quickly changes the subject, this really annoys me. I'm sorry to say you already have. It's the natural progression in life and at 25 is still happening to me. You have gotten different interests, met different people, basically you have grown apart, for the time being at least. I would suggest you seek out some of your other friends to spend more time with, maybe you have a potential new best friend right under your nose. Eventually if your friendship is strong enough you will grow close again, but don't dwell for now, your just hurting yourself, you can be sad and miss her, that's natural, but there is nothing you can do and a one way friendship is no fun.
As for her being backstabbed by tina. I wouldn't tell her anything, she will take it as you being jealous, or when confronted tina will say that's what it is. it will make you look bad. This is her lesson to learn, just be ready to be there for her when she finds out, she will find out eventually, and I am sure it is you that she will turn to. In the mean time, talk to some people in your marching band, you already have things in comman so making new friends should be easy.

there is not enough in your letter to tell for sure, what kind of dumb/funny things does he do? Does he make an effort to come talk to you at recess? Do you ever catch him looking at you across the room? If there isn't much of an effort on his part to talk to you then I would start looking elsewhere but agian, there isn't enough information in your letter
