hiya ok im sort of embarrassed about this but here i go. ok, im 13, and ive masterbated since i was around 10 i havn't done it for about 2 cumin up to 3 weeks now as im trying to stop.
I havn't started my period yet and i wondered if this could of effected it. If it has, could of effected the later things in life, say....if i had a baby. I dont no much about periods i just no the basics. Plus when im walkin around i dont feel it but when i go to bed at night i have sort of dribbled my wee a bit im really embarrassed about and i dont no what to do please help!

Everyone masturbates, it's natural, and extremely common in puberty (which is what you're going through right now). You're learning more about yourself and what you enjoy.

It won't affect your period or pregnancy so don't worry about that, your period will come when it's ready. Trust me, it's not something you really want anyway. :P

As for the wee thing, I'm thinking it's an infection. Drink plenty of water instead of fizzy drinks and such, and make sure you go to the toilet when you need to.

When you get your period you will DEFINITELY know, believe me. When a girl has her period, every month she will bleed from her vagina for 3-7 days, about a teaspoon of blood a day. It can often be uncomfortable, some experience some cramping.. I usually just feel sick for the first day and then I'm fine.

You don't need to worry if you haven't got your period yet, you may not even start until you're 18! And when you get it, you'll wish you were younger again...or male.. lol.

Okay, so this guy that i`ve been wit` since we met jus` recently broke up. We were together for 15 1/2 months. He took me back everytime I cheated or anythin` like that. But, this time, he broke up wit` me. He said he loves me still, && that we`ll get back together "soon". But, right now he has "too much drama" && "not enough time" for a girlfriend. Can the doctor tell if you've have sex before? Would the excuse "I pushed a tampon in too far" work?

Are doctors allowed to tell your parents you've been having sex if you dont want them to?

you should be upfront and honest when you visit him, as the questions he'll ask you are all health-related and important. you have nothing to be ashamed of, and the visit will be more beneficial if you tell the truth.

My friend had sex last wednesday and when she was done she went home and couldn't sleep. ok i am 13 female and the first time i got my period was in october of 2005! the thing is that i was masturbating when it came on and i thought it was my period ( the 1st one i ever had). then it didnt come back for a really long time now it May and it hasnt really came on. 2 days ago i say a little blood but it was only the size of a nickel and it stopped 10 minutes after. was that my period? also when i was masturbating did i pop my cherry? it didnt hurt and it bled for 2 days. then i never saw it again. i havent had sex at all ever so i know its not anything like that. please help me!

was your first period a steady flow of a lot of blood? or was it just a light amount of blood?

it's possible that it wasn't your period, and that you actually did some damage masturbating.

i'm not sure what happened a few days ago, but i can assure you periods are not 'the size of a nickel'. bleeding can occur for many reasons and if it worries you, i suggest speaking to your doctor.

when you do get your period, you will know, believe me :)

see what ingredients you have around the house and bake him something sweet, like cookies or cupcakes! then find or make a small box, and decorate it with anything you can find, pretty paper.. ribbons...

if you have some tissue paper or similar this is a great way to line the box, but if not you could even tear up and old magazine!

when you do get it, there is no reason you need to discuss it with your mom, however growing up it is good to have feminine support. whether you wish to discuss it with her or not is completely up to you.

if you do decide to tell her, it's nothing to be ashamed of! remember she was a teenager once too ;)

no no no, it's a natural thing.

your hymen is a piece of skin at the opening of your vagina. some girls have one, some don't. if you do have one, it will break the first time your vagina is penetrated, if it hasn't already broken (which it can do easily).

if it is your hymen it is NOTHING to worry about. it happens to everyone! in medievil times, the hymen was used to determine if a girl had lost her virginity or not :)

i think i have anger problems... yesterday, i got mad at my parents and i dug my nails into the palm of my left hand until it bled. now there is a huge chunk of skin out of my left hand. i used to dig my nails into my palms aswell, and eventually started cutting. this went on for nearly two years.

i found stress balls to be a big help. dig your nails into this instead of your own skin.

another one is pens or pencils. rather than cutting, try drawing on your skin where you'd like to cut, or pressing your pen into the paper until it breaks through.

i found it very relieving. i know it's dificult but i hope you can do the same. feel free to email me if you'd like to discuss it further, i always found speaking to other cutters to be a big help.
