ok im 13 and i havent gotten my period yet...im kinda new to this and im confused.. how do know if you have your period or not?? and also what does a period do when u get it. please help me out!! good advice will recieve good scores.. thanks

When you get your period you will DEFINITELY know, believe me. When a girl has her period, every month she will bleed from her vagina for 3-7 days, about a teaspoon of blood a day. It can often be uncomfortable, some experience some cramping.. I usually just feel sick for the first day and then I'm fine.

You don't need to worry if you haven't got your period yet, you may not even start until you're 18! And when you get it, you'll wish you were younger again...or male.. lol.
