this summer I worked at my town's summer rec program watching the kiddoes and stuff. and there was this guy who worked there too, and I liked him and I got the feeling that he liked me too. then last week it got to be time for the rec program to be over for the year. I thought he was going to say something to me that on that day, you know asking me out or something. but he didn't and I was too shy to say anything to him and now I'm really mad at myself because it was really a no risk situation. he doesn't even go to my school so its not like I would have to see him every day if he didn't like me or whatever. So now I'm not sure what to do. I know he works at this grocery store around here so I'm considering going there when he's working and talking to him then. so my questions are
1. is that a bad idea?
2. if its not a bad idea, what exactly should I say? i can't really just walk up to him and be like, hey I like you.
3. if it is a bad idea, what should I do instead? (link)
no, it's definitely a good idea!! if you don't make a move, then you'll probably just regret not doing it. and plus, guys love love love confidence in a girl, and going there and "running into him" would probably really make him happy. if you got the gut feeling that he liked you back, then chances are, he did! just try to spot him, then, as i said, casually "see" him and be like "oh, hey!" you know, just strike up a conversation, ask what he's up to lately and stuff.

good luck!! :) remember, just be confident, and he will totally pick up on that.


most girls probably would love to have a DD cup but i hate it! i hang out with a lot of guys and they never shut up about them. they grab them unexpectidly, everything! even the girls always talk about them.i try to go along with it but i cant anymore! my mom thinks im depressed because of it. how do i get them to stop? i go through this same problem. i'm a little bit older than you, but i know exactly how you feel. people don't realize that it's not always a good thing (but it's not a bad thing, either.). These guys should NOT be doing that to you. when they do, don't laugh along or anything like that, or else they'll think that it's okay for them to do these kinds of things to you, which it's not. either give them a face and say "uh yeah..you're really funny.." or something to make them feel stupid, or just flat out tell them to stop. and for the girls, just privately tell them that you don't like it when they talk about them.

Okay, so I got my braces off the other day so obviously now I have retainers. What I want to know is, for people who've had them, did you ACTUALLY wear them 24/7? They hurt a little& are EXTREMELY annoying. I know I'll wear them to bed, & probably at home, but I don't want to wear them all the time at school/with friends.

So basically, I'm asking, did you wear them all the time or about 2/3 of the time & still were okay?
My brother told me he wore them basically at night & when he was at home & I know he's fine.
[Please don't preach to me about how I should do as my orthodontist says or whatever, she's kind of a psycho so I can't really trust her, plus they all say to wear them all the time but I know people don't...] (link)
I would strongly advice that you do what your orthodontist says for you to do. I'm not preaching, but she knows what's best for you.

If you don't wear it all day and night when your orthodontist told you to wear it 24/7, then your teeth will move. If you continue to only wear it for part of the day, your teeth will just stay crooked. And the only way they will be able to fix that is by making you wear the retainer all day to correct the teeth that moved. (I had something similar like this happen to me. It sucked.)

I know that it sucks to have to wear the retainer all day, but trust me, in the end it will be totally worth it. After all, this is only temporary, and that beautiful smile that you'll have at the end will be gorgeous and permanant :)



ok, this isn't really advice, but i'm just a little confused. so this guy i like invited me to come to his house tomorrow with his other friend gabe, and he told me to invite a friend too. so there will be four of us. then he said that we were going to bike to target to get some things and he said "i only have 3 bikes, but i can just peg you on mine". what does that mean?? that means you can stand on the pegs of the bike while he's riding it.

there's this song that was on there that i LOVED and it was called section 9 (light & day/reach for the sun) by the polyphonic spree. i forget which episode it was on but its a good song.

if you're planning on sticking with it, debeer is a good brand for a stick head. at least, i really like them. kind of expensive though. i'm not sure about what kind of shaft or goggles, but the person below me is right, all you need is a stick, a mouthguard, goggles and cleats.

i have, and it worked really really well for me. it might dry your skin out a little bit, it did with mine, but it goes away with moisturizer. it takes a few weeks to work (again, this is from personal experience), but in my opinion, it was worth it. it cleared up my acne soooo much i have clear skin now :)

*and from what you asked me, i had put it on every morning and used the product diffrin at night, and that really worked for me. and whenver it would dry out i'd use it every other day/use moisturizer.

if you're saying that you think too much about the little things, i do that all the time. seriously. and you probably know how annoying it gets, so here's my trick: i just think life's too short to keep thinking about the little things. whatever happens, happens. if you dwell on it for too long, you might not get the happiness or the good thing out of it that you could have. i'm not sure if this is exactly what you meant, but i hope i helped :)

Okay so for spring break vaca i used individual fake eyelashes, just to make not using makeup easierr.. i kept them on for about 2 weeks, a little less. and as some fell out i would put them back on. When i was takin them all of today it took a lot of my real eyelashes off, andit looks horriblee : ( im really embarassed and upset and i want to use fake ones again, but i dont think that would be good cause then it would make it even worsee.. is there anything i can do? : ( and if you used fake eyelashes did it take your real eyelashes off too (link)
try using volumizing mascara or eyeliner on the top lash..either that or accentuate your lips to take attention away from the eyes. it probably isn't as bad as you think it is, usually people don't look at your eyelashes, i'm sure nobody will think anything about it. and no, i wouldn't suggest using the fake eyelashes to cover up the damage they did in the first place.

Lately all I want to do is cry. But I can't cry, it's a sign of weakness, right? But I'm not sad, I'm just.....I don't know. Have I held in my tears to long? I never cry when needed, because I don't have a shoulder to cry on(friend). If I cry at school, they will ask me what's wrong, but after I'm done crying they are just going to treat me like crap again, and if I cry at home, well I can't because I have to be a good rolemodle for my autistic brother, I can't just break down and cry! So i have no where to go to cry. What should I do? I don't know if I'll break down at home or school, all I know is that I'm going to have to cry sooner or later. (link)
just take a deep breath. sometimes you just need to cry. a bunch of things build up over time and then you just need to cry, even if it's for no reason. try to just give yourself some alone time in your room or somewhere where you can be by yourself, and just let it all out. if you don't have a friend to just vent to, try keeping a journal. believe me, getting out all your thoughts on paper really relieve a bunch of built-up emotions.


I was gone for about a month on a vacation and I came back and I started to play sports and now my muscles are sore. It's mostly my legs that are sore. My hamstrings, thighs, calves, and a little bit of my abs. What are some ways that I can make my muscles less sore quickly?

STRETCH STRETCH STRETCH. Remember to really stretch a lot before and after practice, because the lactic acids will build up on your muscles if you don't, and that's what will make your muscles hurt.


ok so basically i'm sick.....ugh..
well i have 2 questions
1. i've been blowing my nose like crazy and now the bottom of my nostrils are really sore and raw, what can i put on it to make feel not as sore?
2. today and tomorrow are TAKS days, i keep so i have 2 go 2 school, today i was coughing and coughing and coughing. i couldn't stop. well the teacher said i was disturbing the class with all my coughing. =,(!!! well what can i do to stop my coughing without taking cough syrup?

1. try putting vasaline on the parts that are crusty and sore overnight. either that, or go to a drugstore and buy some medicated blistex. the best kind comes in a little blue round thing, and it's called "lip medex."

2. try taking some cough drops. take them with you in class, and when you feel like your throat is getting scratchy, take one. don't take too many though :)

i drink one every day and i love them. they make me feel energized and they have tons of vitamins in them, so they are pretty good for you. just make sure you don't drink more than one a day, because too many of those vitamins isn't good for you.


hey. 14/f. ok, well i really want to loose some weight. like 20-30 pounds or somethin like that. i've tried before, but i just can't seem to stick to it because of one reason. i'm worried that when i loose weight, there will be that gross left over skin. and even when i get older i wouldn't want to get lipo or anything. so will there be extra skin?? cause i would rather be somewhat fat then have all that extra gross skin just hanging there. lol. sorry, that was a little gross. anyways. i also have another question. what are some good foods that i can eat. i know fruit and stuff, but what else? and also, do those 100 clorie ( idk how to spell that) packs work?? please help with all of these questions!! thanks!!!! luv luv! i think the people below me are right, losing 20-30 pounds won't give you extra skin. and if you're still worried about that, i'd ask a doctor what will happen with your skin.

and yes, fruit is good to eat. vegetables, lean meat, and protein is good. if you're really tempted to eat sweets, try to eat fruit bars or something not loaded with fat (like ice cream). Lots of green vegetables will be really good for you. and protein will fill you up and keep you energized.

as for the 100 calorie packs, they're healthy, but you'll just want to eat more afterwards. i'd stick with healthy things that fill you up that are good for you. try having some fat-free yogurt, some cheese, and apples. that's a good snack that will fill you up.
