I have been watching the news and reading online..I keep hearing the Economy will not go down but then banks are filing bankruptcy and businesses closing down and a bank who was bailed out by the 700 billion dollar bail out spent $450k on vacation for themselves...movie stars losing homes...My company in a hotel industry...and have been making cuts for the past 6 years...
And I can't get hired for more than $7.50 per hour and that don't pay the bills..
It seems the economy is imploding on itself...
it's what happens when banks just shoot out loans to people and then the people can't pay it back...
In fact there was a black monday and 5 friends couldn't get paid a thing not even to cash a check...
So what is going on and don't just say recession...

Well the people saying the economy won't go down are probably just trying to stave off the blame from the president. If I recall correctly, it was actually the company that received and $80 billion bailout that bought the vacation, AIG. The $850 billion bailout was spread amongst a few companies after the $700 billion one failed. The economy is going to hell due to several bad decisions, the sub prime lending was just one of the biggest issues. We are a service culture, most of what we actually buy and use is imported. Our imports far outnumber our exports, making our economy inherently fragile. Then there was the fact that the president was slashing taxes for rich people while spending more and more.

Well, he was probably just trying to be nice, saw that you misinterpreted his niceness, didn't want you to get the wrong idea anymore, so he stopped what he thought was the offending behavior. Haven't you ever had a guy hit on you after you did something you thought was innocent? Did nothing change? The quickest fix I can suggest, is mentioning some other guy you like to him (real or not). This will let him know you are over him (true or not) and he will think its safe to be nice again.

are all colleges in new york overly expensive?
i live in eastern PA and i am hoping to attend college in new york. however, almost all ive looked at seem out of my price range. im looking to major in either business or education. any info would be great ! (link)

Colleges in general are pretty expensive, especially if you don't live in the state. You can try to get financial aid, but that's also more difficult if you are going out of state. I would recommend trying to find a decent college in your area, or just in your state, because it will be a lot easier on you money wise.

Hey i feel so embarrassed here but i really need your help... i am 19 years old 20 in December and i cant have sex...i have a boyfriend that is really understanding and helpful we are together nearly one year but i don't expect him to stay around and wait for me. Last year i was diagnosed with P.O.F(Premature Ovarian Failure). I feel that i am not normal but i really do try to have sex. The pain is unreal when we are about to have sex. I am afraid I cannot give you a cure. I am very sorry for what happened to you when you were young, and you really should tell your doctor about it. If that does have something to do with what you are feeling now, then perhaps a psychologist will be able to help you. However, you said your boyfriend is understanding, if he does leave just because of this, then he is obviously not understanding, and is not the right person for you. There are plenty of things that couples can do together that do not involve sex, sexual or not. But none of those should be the focus of a relationship. If there isn't something deeper there, that can survive a lack of sex, then it probably would not be able to survive real hardship.

17 times? What the hell are you still doing with him? "Once a cheater always a cheater" as the saying goes, so you forgave him once, OK thats possible, but 17 times? What are you getting from this guy thats worth that much emotional pain? It probably something really good, did he buy you a car or something? Do you think he has something that no other guy does? Because I guarantee you there are plenty of guys out there that probably have it too, and will not cheat on you 17 times, or even once. You need to kick him to the curb, and you need to kick him where it hurts. Or, if you really are getting something out of it that is making you happy then go ahead, keep letting him treat you like crap.

You can buy a wi-fi modem for around $40-$50 and install it where you live in order to be able to use the internet there. I believe the iTouch has bluetooth. If so, you can use it to connect to your phone, and access the internet that way, however, you would have to purchase an unlimited data plan from your provider. A lot of people have unsecured wi-fi modems, so you can always trying walking around, seeing if you pick one up.

In pretty much any grocery store. If you are looking for something that will be used repeatedly, as it seems you are from your question, you really should be using glass dishes. Plastic will wear out pretty quickly. Target and Walmart are good places to get cheap dishes, be they plastic or glass. If you want to buy in bulk, Costco will likely get you the best price per dish.

I have a samsung 5.1 mega pixel with a bunch of different features. But my problem is that the batteries never last long. I buy rechargables and the double A batteries that last longer than normal batterries. But they don't work. Ive charged my rechargeables like only once and they dont work. Even if I do get new batteries, they only work for maybe 10-30 min. without dying? Any suggestions for longer lasting batteries? My camera takes 2 double A batteries. (link)

Energizer e^2 batteries are supposedly designed specifically for high tech devices and should last longer than normal batteries, however, it could still be a problem. Even cameras that take regular batteries usually have a rechargeable battery pack you can purchase for them, do a search for your exact model and see if you find anything.

Well, if you shine a regular laser pointer into someone's eye it will give them the feeling of blindness... Don't do that though. There are currently no commercially available lasers that do anything of the sort that you are looking for. Even if there were, they would be horribly expensive.

Ok, heres the problem. I feel very comfortable with older people then I do with people my own age. The trouble with that is I'm 17 and the people I get along with are like 34-whatever. Well, when I'm at school I literally can't even look up at people. I get so nervous. I mean it's kind of pathetic but I talk to this janitor everyday more then I talk to anyone else in the school. I literally have my head down and I wear like uberly baggy clothes as well. I feel very uncomfortable with myself. I've had a shrink since I was 8 so don't suggest that. You cannot get a guy to like you any more than a guy you don't like can somehow get you to like him. Any if you could, would you really want to compromise yourself to get a guy? You should find someone who likes you for you, that's what its all about.

so I am 17 girl. I have always had a problem with guys. They all think i'm hot, i have no problem getting their attention. But i am not easy (don't want to give you the wrong impression). Well you are going for the wrong guys then. If you keep getting hurt, maybe you should try going for a different type? Maybe one of those guys that you haven't looked twice at. Most guys will care when they hurt a girl, but the ones that don't get the most girls. You just aren't going for the nice guys because most girls don't.
