ugh i have scrunching gel and it works pretty good, ok, but whenever i scrunch my hair, it doesn't really get scrunchy, it just gets wavy. i put hairspray in it and wet my hair before. girls at my school scrunch their hair and it looks wet and really scrunchy all day. idk how they do itt. any tips ? thanks (link)

ok...first wet your hair...then put mousse...i get my hair really nice with this mousse called vital care...it works on any type of hair...make sure you put a good amount...

well...no one really knows when they get their period...everyone gets them at different times...this one girl i know didn't get it until she was 16!no...don't wear a pad every day...carry one in your purse/backpack,just in case...don't be shy to confront your mom...at first you might feel a little nervous...but remember...she's been through what your going through...

Is it normal for girls to have hair on their back and front like men? My sister's only 11 and she has hair everywhere but when I see girls at the beach they don't have hair (And I looked really close at the blonds because their hair is see through). Ok right, is it ok for a guy to straighten his hair ? Because i straighten my fringe..because it luks stupid without it straightened, but i don't think many people realise i do. Anyway, one person in my class made a comment about how only gay guys straighten their hair :| and i was..:(..because i'm not gay.

alright, well for christmas i've been thinking about what i want and what i want is some newer, better makeup.

do u knowany good straighteners out there? like really good ones that lasts all day without being frizzy ? but not too expensice ones.. maybe something that i can afford. [im 13. lol] ihave curly hair and my hair has been damaging due to hair dring and constant straightening. [also maybe because of all these different products i use for it like serums and sprays to make hair shine] i hope this doesnt sound confusing and i hope that you can help me!

16-f. my boyfriend and i have been together for about 5 months [we go to diff. schools, just incase that helps]. and im TERRIBLY jealous and i hate it. pretty much all of his friends are girls but hes not a player or the type that flirts around, hes only had 3 girlfriends before me [likewise with me], so im only jealous because i freak out that hes going to like some other girl and leave me, but hes never given me a reason to be jealous. he reassures me all the time that he loves me more than anything and would never leave me and wants to be with me forever, and sometimes i can snap myself out of feelin jealous and feel better, but other times it just drives me insane and makes me feel sick to my stomach i worry so much. what can i do to stop feeling like this? ive already talked to him about it and again he keeps reassuring me that he couldnt love anyone else as much as me, and dont say just realize that hes with ME and not them and be greatful, because i know and i respect that but i still feel jealous. even if he just adds a girl to his top 8 or has a random text messsage from one of his friends. ahh! My parents are divorced and i am 13. they both remarried. My step mom is really nice and all, i've had he since i was 6. We always go places together and all that. Recently i have joined a church youth group, and we always go to those things now. Ever since we started going, she always picks out my clothes and does my hair. She tells me to wear these certain things and sometimes i HATE the outfits she puts on me. Nobody wears them and she always does my hair the way i dont want it. I know she just wants to help out but i dont know what to do because i have no self confidence in me anymore when i wear those things. I dont want to tell her i dont like it or i dont want to wear it because i know it will hurt her feelings, she loves picking out clothes for me. She buys them when i'm not there and then she makes me where them. Any idea what to do besides tell her?

thing is that i go to this really rich school but i'm not exactly as rich as most people in that school are. i'm on financial aid and that is why i'm able to go there. however, i do come from a Cuban family, and being it that we're Cuban, we love to throw parties. So, for my birthday my mom rented out a room thats actually pretty nice because the balcony is overlookikng the ocean but i don't know. i don't mean to sound ungreatful or anything, but it might not be exactly what these kids are going to go for and i would feel really bad if no one showed up. now, i have only seen this place during the day, so it night be a whole diferent thing, but can someone just give me some advice on what they think. it's really a nice place. and i live in miami, for those of you who know miami, and its in key biscayne, so maybe i just need some reassurement here. thanks for the help

My parents are unbelievably overprotective.They will not let me go for movies with my 21 year old brother and 17 year old cousin.I am almost 14 and I'm not allowd to cross the street.I cross 10 timnes more caarefull than the average person(okay sometimes I can cross).My mom's not as bad as my dad.My dad will not let me go to this place just outside my building.I do not even have to cross the street to get there.WHy do they have these irrational phobias?what can I do about it? i know what you mean about overprotective parents!my dad won't even let me sleep over at my aunts house!!plus he won't let me stay home alone with my 18 year old brother!!there is really not much you can do about it...they might be that way because lack of trust...they may not trust you or might think your not responsible enough...show them your mature...and don't whine or argue with them...you'll lose major points...good luck
i know what you mean about your brother...my brother was always getting suspended...he even got expelled...plus he stole my mom's car,crashed it into a mailbx,tree,and wall,in that order!

I'm 14 years old and a female.
I have a boyfriend who I have been going out with for 4 months now and at first he was so sweet and really nice to me. Over time he started getting mad at the littlest things,, like how I dressed or did my make-up. He would call me a whore or a slut and other things, and about a month after that he bcame abusive. He would always loose his temper and hit me. Never in front of anyone though, and he just got worse and worse but I never told anyone. So after school yesterday I tried to break up with him, he got so mad and punched me. He said if I ever tried to break up with him again I would regret it. After he left I was just sitting in the hallway crying when this guy I really liked(I didn't know him that well but I like him even before I had a boyfriend)came p to me and knelt beside me and asked me if I was okay. I tried lieing to him, telling him I tripped and fell but he wouldn't by it.(I'm guessing my black eye gave him a hint) He asked me if my boyfriend did this to me and I said yes. He lives close to the school so he asked me if I wanted to go to his house to get cleaned up and I said yes. When we got there he helped me wash the cut and everything and we started talking. He asked me if it was the first time my boyfriend did this to me and I told him no, then I told him everything. For some weird reason I trusted him. He walked me home and when we got their he hugged me and then he kissed me. He said he would take care of my boyfiend. I ddn't really know what he meant but I let it go. I was to happy he kissed me. I was late to school the next day, but when I got their I was just in time to see the fight between my boyfriend and the other guy (Lets call him Matt). They were broken up by the police officer. They were both pretty beat up.Both of them got sent to the principals office. Matt got suspended for a week, and my boyfriend 3 weeks. (He has previos fighting records)I caught Matt as he was leavigng and asked him why he would get in a fight over me. All he said was "I love you and I couldn't stand to see you hurt like that" and he walked away. What should I do I really need help. (link)
